Boris shook his head in disbelief, he's not buying any of this from this monstrosity. "You can't fool me! I never abandoned them! Themba stayed behind to defend the city! Kuulikki ran from me to retrieve... something..." he hesitated and reached down into his pouch, pulling out the bloodstained photo of his family; the image slightly faded, but still showed enough colors to distinguish them. He gripped the photo tight and glared at the Splinterfright, fear will not dominate him this time. Not again.

"You two were very dear to me, and to see you all go like that breaks my heart... but I know their souls are watching over me, always there to cheer me on even if I have fallen one too many times. I know this because the real souls of my loved ones are still with me! You can't break me down this time, not by a long shot," he slipped the photo into his pocket and unsheathed his staff, pointing the silver end at the creature. The birds near him were transformed big enough to be considered battle-ready, floating beside him, "I will end this matter once and for all by destroying the past that has been haunting me for as long as I can remember, which means, you!"

As the others were brought to safety, Ghan began to climb up the long appendage of Creese, attempting to get to a weak spot. Simultaneously, Ahriman shot at the beast's head while Desmond threw his blade against the legs of his former master. It was at this moment that several things happened all at once.

First, Creese growled and thrust his right arm against the wall, squashing Ghan against it harshly. Creese brought his head to the side slightly, allowing the arrow to simply graze against his cheek. However, he did not account for the blade inside his leg. Growling, he swayed a bit before falling to one knee. In anger, he brought his hand in a wide arc, smacking against Otael and making a dent against the wall by how harshly he hit. He swung again, this time aiming at Desmond and Ahriman

Tibalt chuckled at Jessica's anger. This was the kind of furious rage that he had wanted to get from her since the very beginning of his tricks and illusions. He watched as she came toward him, her eyes a fiery red and her sword going through the ground.

"Yes, YES!," He said in a peal of laughter, "Let your rage go!"

As Jessica swung downward, Tibalt jumped up in a front flip, the blade grazing against his leg while the rest of the wrathful energy stayed away from him. He flipped over Jessica's frame, simultaneously taking out his sword in a swift manner and bluntly smacking the butt of it into the small of Jessica's back as he landed on his feet behind her. Smirking, he then turned on his heels, and the sparkling obsidian sword came to view.

"You're going to have to do much better than that to get to the Prince of Demons," He said.

As Liss swiftly dodged the blunt hit from her counterpart's hand, she transformed into a snow leopard, dodged, and made an attempt to grapple the black gorilla. She was successful, however at that moment the woman shifted into a small mouse, leaving her grip and running behind her before transforming into a lioness and moving to bite her jugular.

"More," She said, "Give me more vigor! More ruthlessness!"

Many of the abominations fell with the duo's greatest efforts, melting in the fire and stabbed in the chests, all the while being beheaded by the wicked hook of Adric's creation. Over half of the initial amount of these beasts had been eliminated, yet still more came toward them. They continued to chant, however now they were becoming mere mumbles that were indecipherable.

Now, they began to shoot hideous toxins from their mouths, aiming to melt away the bodies of the duo in acids.

Themba's face smiled devilishly at Boris as his birds and he himself became battle ready. The splinter fright let down its hands, and multiple thin, sharpened branches emerged from the open ended sleeves. "You will join your dear family soon enough."

Then, the splinter fright lifted its hands forward, and the branches wrapped around the birds, suffocating and stabbing them as a single, rather large branch moved toward Boris' chest.

At first, Marcus saw nothing as he walked down the darkened paths that were only illuminated by his sword and eyes. However, as he walked through the door in front of him, he was met with a bit more light. It seemed that the room had opened up into a large mess hall-like place, with a hill in the middle. At the top of the hill stood a trio of orange-eyed dogs. Fire sputtered from their mouths. Multiple heads were on their bodies, and each looked around for the enemy.

Slowly but surely, they all saw Marcus and began to bark at him, rushing toward him at super sonic speeds.

Jessica stumbled forwards but quickly regained her balance, her rage expression didn't change in the slightest, "Be careful of what you wish for" she said yelling at him and charged forwards, sprinting as fast as she could making her way towards Tibalt faster than before, "Probably expecting my frontal attack... let's try new things.." she thought.

Jessica lifted her sword as if she were to slash Tibalt, tho a few meters before she reached him, she stabed her sword on the ground and used her momemtum to stop her tracks just like in the fight back in worborrow but this time she spin around holding herself in the handle and launched herself forwards taking the sword with her towards the demon prince using both of her legs to impale his chest.

"Ghan!" Desmond screamed.

I'm okay, Desmond, the companion yelled as he fell to the floor with a metallic thud. I'm coming back up.

The stitched companion touched his chest, a visible crack through the flesh and cogwork could be seen but he paid it no heed, hopefully Desmond did not see what he saw.

The stitcher moved forward with blade in tow. "We need him down," he said urgently. His eyes fixated on the faces that attempted escape through Creese's skin; it was disturbing yet it meant one thing. Three Book was the key. He sheathed his blade and opened the book. He flipped through the pages trying to find the one he had read before in his home. "Where is it?"

The pages went through his fingers as his eyes scanned the words that moved around in groups and clutters. Soon the page he wanted sprung with the spells he had needed but would he be able to Unbind the souls?

"Ahriman," Desmond called. "I'll try to remove the souls from the body, keep him occupied."

Ghan ran towards the abomination's leg and slammed his fists onto it, trying to set Creese off balance.

Tibalt saw what Jessica was trying to do, she was trying to out-trick the trickster himself. He watched the blind swords woman launch her body forward, taking the sword with her as she looked to impale him. His eyes widened as she watched her go at supersonic speeds. Stumbling backward, he yelped as her sword pierced cleanly through his chest, coming out from his back. Jessica looked into Tibalt's eyes triumphantly, but then she saw that they were rather...empty.

Suddenly, the clone that had been made shattered like glass. Out from the dust came Tibalt, landing a harsh right hook against the female's cheek. "Don't ever try to play my game, or you will lose swords woman."

The lioness bit into the woman's leg harshly, and as Liss wrapped her trunk around her mirror image and thrust her backward, she took a huge chunk of her leg with her. The lioness flailed wildly before smacking hard against the concrete floor, leaving a dent. She stumbled slightly, before biting into the trunk of the elephant form of Liss before she could thrust her enemy against the wall.

Liss was forced to let go, when in which the mighty lioness slid in between the elephant's legs, then transforming into a bald eagle, flapping up before raking its claws against Liss' back.

The flames collided with the elbow joint of the beast, and Creese growled in pain as the fires burst around it. Simultaneously, Ghan slammed his fists against Creese's leg with insane power, when in which Creese responded by again slamming Ghan against the wall, this time thrice. "ENOUGH!"

Suddenly, Creese moved forward, his feet practically squashing the earth beneath him as the entire column shook. He walked slowly, tentatively toward his former servant, stalking him like prey. A smile crossed his face.

Simultaneously, Otael emerged from the hole in the wall, charging him with a mighty battle cry. Creese chuckled to himself, scooping the disfigured man with ease into his grasp. "It seems you will have to become my example. You poor, dysfunctional man."

He squeezed with his gargantuan hand. Otael barely had a chance to scream as both he and Fluffy's bodies were broken beyond repair, nearly ever bone shattered in the process. Afterward, he threw Otael on the ground in a pool of his own blood, next to Desmond and Ahriman.

"Still think you can defeat me?"

Just when she thought that her plan had worked, she felt Tibalt's clone vanish, she realised what has happened but she couldn't react in time. The demon's fist landed on her face making her fall on the ground harshly, she didn't step up as fast as before. She felt the pain of his fist only for a few seconds, she was entirely focused on her enemy. Taking her sword against she stood up and said while her voice grew in tone "You may crush my bones and body Tibalt... but I promise you that I won't die until I have your skull in my hand and crush it until is only dust!". She stood in a fighting stance, decided to use everything she had to destroy the demon prince, or die trying. She approached Tibalt at meduim speed, wanting to test the demon's skills with his sword. "He has only defended himself from my attacks, I want to see what can he do with that sword of his... I'm better counter-attacking, I have to create the opportunity for me to return his attack on his face" she thought as she was about to impact Tibalt with another downwards slash of her sword but this time she'd follow him if he tried to escape or attempt to quickly move her sword in front of her to block an incomming counter-attack.

New threats arose as the old threats fell. Like some sort of phoenix, the ooze monsters continued their assault. Toxins spewed from their mouth and from a rock that was caught in the crossfire Ravin saw that this was not something he wanted anywhere near him. Luckily his clothes had been previously destroyed, so they were at no risk. Using a corpse of an ooze beast, he held it up and its size was more than enough to cover his short stature and advanced on the beasts. His rationale was that if the toxins didn't burn the insides, why would they burn the outsides. When passing by the remains of his hat, he knelt and picked up the small nail spikes. Using the body as a shield, he moved forward, throwing the spikes with deadly accuracy at the beasts. He dared not stray too far, lest he get surrounded.

Jessica was getting more and more infuriated by her attacks that were simply ineffective against the Demon Prince. That much was easy to decipher. Tibalt's smirk was everlasting, and he watched as she came toward her once again, swinging her sword downward. Tibalt jumped backward in response, and decided upon giving her what she wanted, slashing his obsidian sword at her torso.

She would block is just in time, however the sheer force of his attack sent a painful shock wave through her body. He pressed his sword against hers, leaning in closer as the fires began to surround them.

"You will die in this cage," He hissed, "Even if it means I must die with you."

Ravin and Adric continued their assault on the beasts that seemed to continuously rise. It was becoming like clockwork, none of them getting even close to the duo anymore. They seemed to be almost finished dealing with them.

Then, a deep voice sounded from the expanses of the dark room. "ENOUGH!"

The abominations all screeched and skittered the opposite way of the duo, back toward the voice and into the pitch black darkness. Moments passed. Eventually, another beast of its own kind stepped out into the small light they had from the fires.

"You have harmed my children, paraded my grounds and overall annoyed me to no end" He said through what was...his mouth?," Now I must kill you."

As blood spurted from the horrible flesh wound in Liss' leg and dripped from her nose and back consistently, she fell to her knees, seeming to give up. Liss could practically feel the smirk on her polar opposite's face. She began to walk closer to Liss, slowly morphing back into her human form as her nails ran across Liss' shoulder. She wrapped an arm around Lissete's neck, licking her lips.

"I'm glad you've finally seen it my way," The woman said in her own sultry voice.

She walked into Lissete's view, now firmly grasping the back of her neck and lifting her head to look into the black hole that was her opposite's face. "But it is just...so much more fun to play with my food. "

The smirk on her face grew into a devilish one, "And I'm not done playing with you just yet."

Suddenly, Lissette was in a completely different setting than the darkened room she was in before. As she sat up, breathing heavily, she found that she was in a courtyard under the full moon. The oceans were rocking back and forth fiercely.

Confused, Lissette looked around her. All of her fellow comrades were with her, and blood was still gushing from a horrible wound in her leg. As she glanced over to Otael, there was a pool of blood around him. He was crumpled up, as if all of his bones were broken.

He had suffered a tragic death.

However, everyone else seemed to be soundly sleeping, aside from the occasional bruise or cut. The courtyard seemed to be just in front of the lab they had walked in, however it was boarded up and closed off.

"As much as I love to, I rather stay alive long enough to watch YOU die!"

Boris sprints towards the Splinterfright, avoiding the coming tree branch by jumping aside. Using one of the enlarged birds that aren't trapped, he commands it to attack the creature. Its talons grip onto its bark and continuously pecked on it as Boris got close enough to jam his staff into the Splinterfright using as much force as he can.
