hey stickpage. thought i might show off some of my stuff here and get some CnC.

Here's my CnC here we go.
1. The face is kinda unstructured properly. The hair is stiff. The left eye is not balanced from the other eye. The nose and lips position is kinda wrong.
Try making a line guide at the face and start off drawing from the front. That way you can properly put face parts in the proper positions.

2. The body needs work on human anatomy especially the Chest,torso,and arms. I can also see that the outlines are kinda too stiff.
Try not making the outlines too hard and study anatomy.

3. Same as CnC's above and also the clothes creases are kinda too overused which makes it look unnatural.
4. I can't see something to CnC cause I'm shit at CnC'ing. But please do keep in mind the above CnC's.

thanks HyMaster but i actully did use face guide line's. must of just did it shitily, and as for the anatomy of the others i agree with you. i have and am still studying anatomy....slowly lol

your coloring looks very uh... for lack of a better word, photoshopy. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's the standard common photoshop coloring that most PS users tend to fall into. There are also a few parts of your drawings where there's this weird distortion thing going on where your linework meets your background, and some of your coloring in general is just sloppy and put of the lines.
Your anatomy could use some work, although you seem to be on the right track, just need to do a bit more study I suppose, the real problem lies in your clothing, you really need to work on that and figuring out how things fold and fall according to positioning and gravity.
aside from those things, your lineart is kinda sketchy so maybe work on that, but the rest of it is good, keep it up

not sure how to avoid the photoshop look. i dont even use photoshop. i use paint tool sai. the lines being distorted might be from me fading my line work. maybe ill try something else to make my line art blend with the picture. im told that my clothing needs work almost every time lol. cant seem to get the hang of it.

Oh, then you must be using too much blur or airbrush or both, that's a common thing you see in photoshop which is why I said it looked photoshopy

ah thought u meant it in some other way. i dont use blur tho but i do use the air brush alot.

The most obvious things that popped out to me was that
her right breast is much bigger then her left (lol, too big)
and with her left forearm, considering that her hand is on her waist, it should be darker/less contrasty or something to show the depth/ that it's further down her body. Also if the lights coming from the left, her left arm wouldn't be lit up so much since her body is covering it.

I really like that inked one. Her face actually appeals to me way more then all the other faces, but idk how u feel bout that :p
