However, Shekhtur also telegraphs and moves forward 2 spaces!
Shekhtur's gauntlet blazes with fury as she strikes Cadenza for 2 damage.
Shekhtur then jumps back a safe distance and recharges her Gauntlet, gaining 2 Malice and +1 power next turn!

Cadenza's core glows malevolently. He will gain +4 priority next turn!

As Azure is trapped in Jager's claws, Karin steps back 1 space.
"Now, brother!" and as if on cue, Jager let's go and dashes back 1 space. His eyes glow as he reels in and unleashes an unnatural howl. The sonic boom shatters and blows away the foliage as it heads straight to Shekhtur's position in the shape of a giant claw, exploding on her for 4 damage!
Because of the Howl's proximity, the resounding force causes an extra 2 damage!
Jager steps back 1 step further as Karin smiles with a gleam in her eye. "Alright! We've got her!" she says.

Shekhtur is stunned from the attack, but her gauntlet glows in anger. She gains 2 Malice and +1 Power next turn!

"Let's get her!" Karin commanded as she dashes forward 1 space.

Shekhtur grips hard, her fury rushing between her fingertips as she longs to smash Karin to pieces. She dashes forward 3 spaces...only to stop short!
Because she was too distracted from Karin, Shekhtur did not notice Jager interrupting her advance with a headbutt for 2 damage.
Shekhtur is stunned and her advance is stopped.
Jager closes the distance and dashes once into her space.

@Azure: Just to clarify your perceived confusion, Jager's coordinated block-attack is not considered an attack but a Passive effect (in the same way that Jager himself is a passive entity), so his "attack" damages you even though Aquilla performed a Dash.

Karin attempts to bait Shekhtur but Shekhtur retreats 1 space instead.
As Shekhtur dashes backwards, she spins, releasing a wave of malevolent energy for 4 damage!
The attack staggers Karin, forcing her to move forward by 1 space.
Shekhtur's gauntlet regulates back to 3 Malice.

Both Fighters don't seem to want to approach each other, as they know that close-up attacking can get very volatile.
Both Fighters have begun shooting aura blasts at each other (with Karin using Jager to Howl fast).
Shekhtur's Combination attack is faster and it strikes Karin hard for 5 damage!
Unfortunately, Jager's shot also strikes Shekhtur for 3 damage.
Jager moves forward on the approach by 1 space.
