weird, because after you were called out on your first statement you backed it up with this:

literally the exact opposite of what you just said.

odd how that fact also became an "opinion" by the end of this too.

It was never anything more than an opinion. And the thing you quoted. It says that no matter how much you blame the richmen for the situation there it won't change = meaning that blaming one with whom you're not equal won't change anything. By 'why should we struggle' I wanted to say that we shouldn't struggle/ feel sad and depressed about it, that it's a fact and we can't change history, I ,however, agree that charity would help them.
It was overall stupid by my side.

I really hate people that call themselves ugly just to be told they're beautiful. Seriously WHY THE FUCK DO YOU DO THIS?
and people that hate singers just because they don't like their music.

As stated earlier exxonite has clearly never had to work for things or struggle. He's just ignorant I guess.
Anyway I hate people that do nothing during group work and then cause you to get a shitty grade
because you had no say with who you were put in a group with. Fuck those people.

uh, people do this? there's a lot of concern about the severe wealth inequality in the US but aside from what the republican propaganda machine says about people "demonizing" the rich I never see it personally, and most of my friends are liberal. no one hates the rich for being rich, that's either an extreme example or an oversimplification of what people actually have a problem with.

It's actually pretty common. I know alot of people who are discriminatory towards rich people. Alot of people justify it with "well he didn't work for his money, he probably just inherited it" and the like. A couple of my friends think the rich should have to pay a higher percentage in taxes, just because they have money. Because why pay the same rate as everyone else when you have more money? I seem to be the only one that realizes just how stupid that sounds.

this argument only really applies to taxes, usually when massive corporations use tax loopholes to avoid paying a reasonable tax rate. no one is seriously arguing that they should redistribute their wealth just because they have a lot of it.

This is pretty common too. I hear alot of complaining about rich people not giving or doing something for somebody, simply because they can afford it. They're the same people that complain about the rich getting a tax break, and respond with things like "what about us? where's our tax break? why don't they give us (less wealthy people) more money?", even though the rich are still paying far more in taxes than they are. My girlfriend comes from a wealthy family in England, and my friends family (basically my family), get pissed off every time i have to pay for my own flight to go see them, or her paying for her own schooling instead of it being paid for by her parents, or future (possible) wedding expenses, etc. Basically think they should be responsible for all costs pertaining to our relationship simply because they're wealthy and can afford it.

Keep in mind, I've always been kinda poor. But even I can appreciate rich people being able to keep/spend their own money how they see fit.

appealing to nature is a bullshit argument. rape is extremely commonplace in nature, I don't see you arguing that we should get to do it too just because "nature" gets a free pass. our empathy and intelligence as a species is the reason we recognize equality is something to strive for. for most of us, at least.

This is pretty much spot on.

I think getting born is an equal enough opportunity to achieve 'that' greatness, the rest is up to you.

I can sympathize about not trusting certain donation foundations; it's difficult to spend your (sometimes) hard-earned money on people you've never met and be unsatisfied not seeing immediate results. It's true that there are plenty of people who irrationally believe the rich are somehow responsible for all of their problems and should compensate for them in one form or another, as unreasonable as that sounds. It's also true that there are notable outliers who have made it to the upper echelon of society after being born in rags, Andrew Carnegie being one of them.

But as a person who was born in an upper socioeconomic class, this is complete bullshit and you'd have to be insanely naive to believe this.

@ashlander, thanks for the perspective. I guess I just don't know anyone who's that entitled and/or politically misinformed.

that said I am in favor of progressively higher tax rates on the wealthy, but I'm not going to start another argument unless you want one, in which case I'd rather it happen in the debate section. I can't get into it now in any case.

No argument, your entitled to your opinion. I dont have a problem with a progressive tax anyway, I just prefer a flatter rate unless it's not practical for whatever reason. The problem I have with it is people like I mentioned above.

But to stay on topic... I hate Larry the Cable Guy and every unfunny thing he's said.

Ashlander and Charry... GIT R DONE...

I hate people who get drunk at parties and insist that everyone do what they want to do in the name of fun. I really wish bad things happens to those people, and I have relished it when it does.

No idea if this was mentioned before but I hate people who openly state that they prefer to live in a different time period from now based on what they think of today's music and just pop culture in general. I'm talking about the "where has music gone, music is dead!!1!" people who post rants all over YouTube, Facebook, and other forms of social media.

There is no "wrong generation" for music. Nobody was ever born in the wrong generation for music. Taste in music has always been entirely subjective and will differ for every person, no matter when the music was made. "Trashy" music has been made in the past, trashy music has been made now and trashy music will continue being made.

I certainly live in the wrong time period when Tsang's content is considered music.

On another note I hate people who just use excessive vulgarities for absolutely no reason.

I don't remember my 666th post.

I harbor a distinct animosity for those who refuse to get along even if it's the more sensible choice. Especially on the Youtube comments section.
