Today I found out that blind gate is best used with Infernos. The replay I provided I didn't use it until later.

First I started out and made him think I was going into tree mass and secured tower. (4 trees)

Next I began to build fires and airs along with some water and earth to for more miners and healing. I purchased the upgrade for fire rain between 1:00-1:30.

I continue until I get 2-4 infernos.

I get some extra of each unit.

Purchase tower spawn (if not already)

After tower spawn I move an air and an earth as close to their units (or miner wall) as possible.

Then I move in my Infernos and use fire rain right on his miners or archers.

Do this repetitively each tower spawn until he surrenders or you can easily finish him.

Post production criticism any if there are any other situation which it can become a game changer.

Good job, I guess that's a pretty clever way to use blind gate, seeing how in DM you can afford an air and an earth each time anyways. I'll also point out a few things that may help you with your elemental game and this strategy:

Group your scorps together before attacking each time to increase the effectiveness of your pressure. Sending only a few at a time would result in the scorps just dying without doing much. Use this tactic unless it's an emergency, for example if you really need to pressure at that specific time and place.

Make less infernos in the beginning, in the replay there was almost always one inferno just standing around and being useless. Sure make more later but don't use so much gold for the infernos at the first minute.

Focus more on your upgrades, that's just very simple. You did well on getting tree and meteor upgrades quickly, so keep that up. But you neglected some of your eco and water upgrades until later.

For this strategy always keep at least one air and water in handy. You did a good job managing the amount of waters you had but you were kind of short on airs. If the opponent has a ninja you might need that cycloid to save your inferno and battle air units, or you could need that blind gate to attack.

Don't worry if your meteors did no damage (not saying that you were), as long as you're delaying area the meteors are doing their job. Also, try elemental ranked, it's not as scary and/or hard as you might think.

An inferno would simply work better. Vs are just too costly and if one dies you're at a big disadvantage. If you try to possess all the opponent has to do is target it with melee and the v will die or give up the possess. The 1350 gold just isn't worth the clones, teleport and risky possess.

I mean if he turtles. Like when he has giants mages shadows out. total havoc with an untargetable v.

Well in DM, if you got a giant, ninja, and a mage out + upgrades + eco and upgrades, you wouldn't have money for much else. The ninja would kill your v before you could do anything about it.

Well now you're just changing the subject so I'll assume I scored a point. And what does the blind gate do? Did you read the thread?

Alright, I'll just tell you.
The point of the blind gate is that the shadow cannot target the v.
Now do you understand?

Oh, those were hints. Saying you were bad at explaining it would be a huge understatement. Anyways, a targetable v is not havoc. Think, what does the ninja do?

The point of a blind gate is so that the opponent cannot see your troops within the blind-gate. A V can posses a unit and cannot be targeted. Frankly, I have no idea why you started an argument on a statement that merely gave another option to a strategy you posted, ie. infernos can cast spells without being seen due to the blind gate.

Needing a blind gate + v just to counter 1 ninja is how you run out of gold.

Blind gate is useless provided the opponent has 1 spear anyway.
