I'm sure this really won't be a shock to everyone. I won't be able to finish an entry for this one so I'm backing out.
I've recently and still having issues with relationships so I was away from animating and all.
And I'm doing a long animation commission which needs to be done asap, I was still gonna try and squeeze this through in my schedule but I really can't.
For the record, I did 30 seconds of animation which was done some time ago, not recently.
Good luck to everyone else participating, and I hope no problems will come on the payments *ahem*.

Lol I see what you did there. I still haven't got mine from classic crossover :/ but it seems a lot of people are backing out of this. Maybe if the due date gets extended, people will be less likely to drop out and have time to finish an entry. Maybe it should be extended please?

I know, right? Which is why I proposed the extension in the first place.
Just wanting to put this here: http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?34109-Film-Tribute-Competition-WINNERS-ANNOUNCED By checking the frontpage, the very first FTC due date was on May the 28th and the event started on February the 15th which means a 3 month gap to complete your entry back then, while this one has only two months time given. Probably for some people, a one month difference has nothing to worry about, but I personally do.

Though if the current deadline is already solid, oh well, guess I don't have any powers to complain more. Just spending my two cents.

If Stone gives extensions for every competition then what's the point in the due date lol

Wait what? Seriously? What the fuck.
It seems that the prizes for the beginners who weren't featured still wasn't given. If it won't really be given just because you're beginners, then that's just fucking stupid.
I'm talking about my friend, dot, btw. He still hasn't gotten his prize too. I don't see why a small portion of the prizes won't be given.
I've talked to stone about this time and time again. I didn't know that you too didn't get yours.

I honestly think that we don't need an extension, I agree with Irian, if we expect an extension every single competition, then there's no point of the due date. And we've had like 2 months to work on this. I personally haven't managed my time very well, but even so, it's my fault, and I should have spent my time more wisely. But Stone set a due date, and I think we should respect that and just go by it.

True, though keep in mind this is the shortest timeframe for a 2 minute minimum animation so far in these contests. So if ever there was a need for an extension it's now. Tbh I felt the original time frame needed to be longer as 2 minutes in 2 months seems very tricky, just my 2 cents.
