Nah, I feel like 18 is the best. Fast enough to not look choppy, slow enough to work with easily.

20 is the best you can maybe get a intermetiate rank of animating

I AM intermediate

The fps you use has nothing to do with how good you are
It's really mostly about what you feel the most comfortable with.

This just went from an animation thread to a fps debate between a well known animator and a low beginner. wtf.
Lol I'm probably still going to use 21 fps because it simply feels comfortable, though I agree that 18 fps can work fine, too.

It looks pretty good as it is tho

fps is just a matter of choice and that's that. Double-framing CAN be good for slowmos. tripleframing in 18fps might not, on the other hand.
