Exactly what the title says, list some of your favorite albums ever. Please keep your lists to a minimum of about 7 or so. Also feel free to give a reason as to why it's your favorite, inb4 externus' sophisticated mask.

Madvillain - Madvillainy: 10/10

Pixies - Doolittle: 9.7/10

Animal Collective - Sung Tongs: 8.7/10

The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium: 9.6/10

Aphex Twin - Drukqs: 9.3/10

Obligatory Radiohead - Kid A: 9.5/10

The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2: 9.8/10

Alternatively, you could use http://top50.topsters.net/ to create a collage of some of your favorite albums if you'd like. (Thanks Jombo.)

So I did a quick 3x3 mosaic of some of my all-time favorite albums/EPs.

Collage (Click to Show)

From left to right on Row 1:
Burial - Untrue
Feed Me - Calamari Tuesday
KOAN Sound -
Dynasty EP

From left to right on Row 2:
Quasimoto - The Unseen
Madvillain
- Madvillainy
CYNE - Evolution Fight

From left to right on Row 3:
Jaylib
- Champion Sound
20syl - Motifs EP
Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid, M.A.A.D City

Also I forgot to put Run The Jewels 2 on there somehow. It just wasn't on my mind at the time I made the mosaic.

Like I tell everyone, just because you like something, doesn't mean you don't see the flaws in it. It's objectivity while still remaining the ability to think uniquely, which is why I like the album, even though I'd rate it low. It has lots of cliche parts; weird, hackneyed repetition, shit lyrics, but it also has good qualities that make it enjoyable. I try to understand what I like and have an objective view, just so I remain open to everything.

I mean I understand liking something despite it's flaws, but that's an entirely different subject, saying something that you can give a 6/10 is one of your favorite albums of all time goes quite a bit further than "even though this isn't very good I like it"
Music doesn't have a definite scale where you could come up with these scores, saying it's a 6/10 means that you yourself don't think very highly of the music, and that's why I don't quite understand how it can be one of your favorites

It isn't music, but Christopher Titus 5th Annual End Of The World Tour has brought me to tears before.

If it's just music though, I found Starset: Transmissions to be pretty incredible. It flows really well from song to song and has an overreaching space theme through actual transmissions at the end of some songs. I liked the whole thing, but Halo and It has Begun where my personal favorites. If you've heard something by them though, it was probably either My Demons, Carnivore, or Telescope.

Oh shoot, 7 minimum.

Alright, I'll throw in Broken Iris: The Eyes of Tomorrow
All the Right Moves: When Your Compass Breaks
Otherwise: Peace at All Costs
Three Days Great: Transit of Venice
Skillet: Rise
And if comedy ones don't count, Sick Puppies: Connect is pretty good too

I think he's trying to say it's like someone whose favorite restaurant is Mcdonalds, they realize it's not the best by any means but they still enjoy it for what it is.

so I guess the 6/10 was his rating of its objective quality, not how much he enjoys it. I have no idea why he'd do it that way but it's probably the reason you're confused.
