If you have read ANY of my previous posts, then you will know that I am a duck (I mean, it's in my name.) and people (The government) think it's a decent idea to chop down forests to leave animals like koalas and kookaburras to die. (I live in Australia...) So, then they build houses all over that, if not, they build FARMS all over that. (Although that's not that bad.) if not that, then they build FACTORIES all over that (Which is TWICE as bad.)

Deforesting is a very big issue in many different countries/states. And therefore killing many a animal and beyond that, making some animals extinct!
The only 2 reasons I'm posting this is because A: I want attention. B: Because this is a real issue.

Hope this didn't bore you.;)

I think that you're post is too vague and general to start a discussion. Obviously if you ask anyone about what they think of deforestation or anything that negatively affects the environment they'll say it's bad we are working towards a solution etc. etc.
What you should do is bring up a specific event or scenario on which we can debate. For example this deforestation issue; if deforestation and pond removal is regulated so that nature remains sustainable, and it is in such away that doesn't wrongly harm anyone living there or is done against their will then I don't see why not if it's going to be put to good use. If it's heavy deforestation and pond removal that can play a big negative role on the environment and people/organisms there then I'm against it.
