Hahaha, I think everyone in here has the potential to be great at art or is already pretty good, you wouldn't be here wanting to make art for people if you didn't enjoy it. I'll take orders from time to time, but I mostly plan on being here to help you guys improve since having someone who can provide good feedback and push you forward is helpful; it's how I've gotten better, drawing for yourself all the time doesn't help you improve nearly as much as drawing for feedback.

@Stracked It looks pretty good! If we could see his whole body though, the legs wouldn't really make sense because of the angle that they are at protruding from the body; it would be like he's doing a magic trick where he's leaning backwards to a point where he shouldn't be able to. If he's just standing, his legs should be straight down below him or in some position where his feet would end up below his entire body so he looks balanced. The chest on the right (his left) seems deflated and doesn't make sense either, it feels like that part was trying to be more of a straight on shot while the rest of his body is trying to be at an angle. Make sure it all matches. Tis good though!

Nice! Most of the Intuos series are really good, they'll last you a while. Up until you have the cash and get too greedy and go for a cintiq. XD

Totally, I may actually stream the commission that I had mentioned earlier for a bit today, the farthest I can go on it is the final sketch since I need to get it verified with the customer and get his initial payment before I do all the lineart/painting.

Haha. Nah.. That'll never happen. An intuos is enough. And it's simple too, I'm thinking that a cintiq is too complicated for me hahaha

Yeah, cintiq's are taking it a bit far if you only draw as a hobby, it's a different matter if you do it professionally. It's not really complicated at all though, its just like using any other tablet except the drawing/animation is right in front of you, vs. it being on a screen with your tablet down below, and requiring a certain amount of hand eye coordination to make it work. It's a lot easier if you draw on paper regularly since it has the same feel.
