In regards to the showdown and overcrowding and whatnot, we had a policy back in my old shop where if people didn't check in or they stayed unavailable for a ridiculous amount of time and didn't provide a reason, they'd be removed as a member. They'd then have to wait and tryout again if there was a spot opening. You have to realize that it's nothing against them, you just need to keep active and dedicated members in the system to keep things flowing, otherwise it all gets jammed up. It's part of being a leader; you've gotta grow balls and make the tough decisions that would be best for everyone, even if you have to disappoint a few. Again, it wouldn't be anything against them, if the inactive guys truly want to be a part of the shop then they would continue to practice and would tryout again when the time came, or they wouldn't have become inactive without letting you guys know the reason in the first place.

Being an older member of the forum, though, please don't hesitate to remove me to make room for newer members. Shops like these have their own fun about them, and I'd hate to take away an experience that I've already had from someone who has yet to get involved in the community.

The Artist Showdown has now officially begun!

How this will work:
Each of you shall make one new art order representing your skills in art, on what will be drawn in the order will depend on your creativity.
You should not use an old art and state that it's new, this will all depend on honesty, so be honest to us and your members.
Helping is allowed, and by that i mean helping by CnC, but you should not let anyone touch that art of yours, the one touching that art should only be you and you only (No art jointing.), again, this depends on honesty.
Give this all your best and efforts as this art will depend on your stay on this beloved art shop, You will all have one week and a half (11 days) to finish this art, i may extend it depending on what might happen to the members' situation in real life.
Zaix, Me, Stracked and ZephAxix (Im not sure about Terrorac) will not be participating in this showdown, though we will be the spectators and will guide you through this showdown.
Inactive members will and might be kicked out from this shop, im sorry, no hard feelings, but we need active members in this shop as stated by Zaix, a member with experience.
