@SoulGaZer; I know what you mean man, and I respect that since I kind of feel the same way having run one of the original shops on here. Being in shops like these is fun and is a great place to improve art wise, and I'd hate to take that experience away from someone who hasn't experienced it, hence why I would be willing to step down if someone wants to join but there aren't any spots. Same feels, man, same feels. Oh, and I am taking orders right now since I'm leaving to visit hospitals for testing in 2 days, and the drive is going to be a long one, so feel free to fire away! I'll probably take a max of 4 or 5 since I still want time to focus on my other art commissions, and so I can just have time to relax. XD

@Maroon; Nice work man! It looks pretty cool, and I like the painterly style you used on it. If you don't mind some CnC, I'd be more mindful about what colors you use. color choice in general is okay (the greens and reds create a really nice complementary color scheme across the whole thing) but you shouldn't keep all the colors as saturated as they possibly can be, it messes with the eyes and makes it hard to distinguish what the focus is supposed to be. If you wanted the focus to be the bat wielding batman in the middle, keep him fairly saturated, but then make sure most of the greens are way less saturated, sometimes even delving into the grays. A really cool thing about color is that your eyes will pick up gray as a really unsaturated color of the opposite color that is saturated (i.e. saturated red, gray looks like green. Saturated blue, gray looks like orange).

Sorry for what? I'm only cancelling the showdown because Zaix and Soul are willing to step down for other people who haven't done this, I actually respect that decision but having to lose 2 great artists just makes me sad. Thus making me think that I should cancel it immediately before anyone leaves, but if they actually like the unexperienced to experience having to do orders and such, they could try to be unavailable so that the others can order from them.
Whatever decision, I shall respect how they think.

About whether you ordered from me or not, you probably ordered something back in the shop passed down to me by Drone, but I don't think you've asked for anything here (edit: Ahhhhhh ye you ordered something from Gaaading, the white stickfigure with the flaming eyes and the sunglasses and stuff, if you remember that. I went back and looked because i was curious XD).

that's a shame, but i don't really mind either way. my goal here is to be more productive and i feel having a 2nd party would help me motivate that. so as long as there are people telling me to do shit i'm not going anywhere far.

@Maroon; Anytime man! If anyone in here pops a little "CnC appreciate" tag in a post of some art they've done or on an order, I'd be happy to give some feedback based on what I think needs to be worked on the most. There was some issues with lighting and whatnot but I didn't want to overload you with thinking about too much to correct, color is a pretty big deal breaker anyway (btw major props on the shading for the head, spheres seem basic but can actually be tough if you don't know how to shade them correctly. Looking at it harkened me back to when I started my private realism classes, my teacher made me do nothing but spheres for the first few sessions until I had those down pat XD)
