This art shop is pretty much dead; most of the members aren't active here anymore (I got into the shop but was never put on the artist list XD). You could probably make your own shop though if it's something you're interested in doing.

Seems like most art shops get swallowed by inactivity. We need an art shop to stay open :D

Yeah, it is, it's usually what happens to these types of shops though. Doing free art is tough sometimes.

That'd be ideal, but the big reason why these shops go inactive is because of the fact that it's free; I get burned out if I do too many orders, and then I also have school and art commissions to worry about before this. I would go revive my old shop, but the whole reason I joined this one (other than just wanting to make art and help these guys improve) was so I wouldn't have to worry about micro-managing a shop again. XD

It's definitely been an idea, in the old shop that I ran I was in the process of trying to get peoples paypals and make it so if you wanted something pretty complex stickfigure wise or an actual fullbody drawing, you'd have to pay. The big issue there is the demographic on here is mostly pre-teens to young adults, and most of the people asking for the art are too young to have the money to pay for it. That, and some people switch RHG's quite frequently and wouldn't see the point in purchasing something they might not have a use for later.

Trust me though, with all the RHG art and avatars that I've done, I'd love to have gotten paid for all of them. XD

The point system back in the ol' Fluidanims was really good wasn't it? Maybe it could be implemented here too.

They've been talking about the point system here for a LOOOONG time, but it's never been done. Perhaps with the new site, hmmm?
