Wouldn't most people simply state their mother tongue as their favourite language? This topic is like "Who's dad is the best"?

indeed, but I do think different languages have different "style" so it is kinda hard to say which one is my favourite :/
For example, English is a convenient language which really simplify things
Chinese characters are quite blocky and include many complicated meanings in one or two words
and Japanese+Korean words look like a bunch of symbols

But seriously, I feel this thread is flawed because we'll just state our native languages. Any kind of comparitive analysis is doomed to fail because we don't speak each other's languages.

I guess I like English the best because Swedish sounds so stupid. Like seriously, when I was younger I was incapable of watching Swedish dubbed movies because it made the movie much worse.

I can fluently speak Arabic and English, with no weird accents. I'm learning Japanese and afterwards might attempt to learn Korean.
