Hah, I used to have an awesome (if stiff) mech thing which promptly fell over in two hits. As usual, I follow my doctrine of "All Guns Facing Forward".

In the end I made a wedge littered with guns before giving up and letting the gunbeds have their way.

I'm no stranger to mobile weapons platforms. That's what I used in tier 3 until it was meticulously refined into the elegant wild boar.

It's the only design I'm confident enough to post about though. Right now I'm working through tier 5 and I'm using a mobile weapons platform to do it. Meanwhile the wild boar sits in my garage, at the ready to slaughter tier 3 whenever I desire.
We should play.

I've been playing this for a while now, almost tier 8 and stuff...

I am very near to tier 8, and I hate it because I want tier 8 so badly. I stopped playing it a little while ago because from what I researched, the EAC they use may as well BE a malware, so idk how likely I would to get back into it. Maybe if I had a couple of people to play with I would.

I don't really play Robocraft anymore, but here's a tank I used that I affectionately named 2Swole2Control (It's in tier 8 barely)



It was incredibly powerful for its tier. Shields are arrayed so that it's impossible to be one-shotted by plasma and railgun fire, and a carefully-spread line of shields on the backside make it easy to turn around and absorb incoming plasma fire, taking no real damage so I can whip around and blast them with my SMGs.
It's powered by only two tier 8 tank treads so it turns on a dime while being fast and good at climbing hills, and the treads have ridiculous health. Not to mention the giant coat of block armor around them. The whole tank is basically a shell built around the treads. This thing can take fire from three enemies at once and still kill two of them.
