we were all "noobs" once (yes, spit out the joke about still being one), and if they were closed down there wouldnt be any new members able to join because of the pivot section and easytoon section. And you never know - one day they could be epic. Though a good idea would be a registering limit. like 10 a week or something.

Let me say this one more time.

You guys don't seem to understand the whole concept of forums and advertising.

Why are there advertisements on SPP? Because Zulu wants them there, and why does he want them there? Because when people look at them/click them he makes money. So the more members he has the more money he makes.

do you really think there are much more people to get? Any that were decently interested in animation in this generation have already chosen a site by now. Most new people I see here are on at least 3 other sites, and when they get at least some internet etiquette, then I would greet them. If anything maybe a rule that restricts them to the introductory threads before they can post openly, so that they can learn how things work. The only way I got better at how to interact on the internet was intro threads, and beginner threads on the animation forums. Most of the new users go straight to either making a collab, posting 3 or 4 different animation threads on the same forum, or bump a lot of old threads. They only really learn when they listen to advise in staying in the beginner threads for a while.

Holy shit. You really think that your ideas will work???

Let me link you to the biggest faggot ever to roam the stickpage forums.

http://www.stickpageportal.com/forums/member.php?u=5221 (Check out my awesome posts)

This was me two and a half or so years ago. After a few months of foruming, I decided that all of my actions were asshole shit**** dumbshit actions, and I should start a new account. I think by now I'm not such a huge idiot, and help out some of the noobs of today.

It took only a few months to get my act together on this forum, and it's thanks to the members of SP. It works as a system. You show up> You're an asshole noob****> we tell you not to do that> You listen or don't listen> You get your act together and have a good forum time or you leave or get banned due to faggotry.

Noobs are a profit to SPP. The pivot forum guys might get some money, pirate, or whatever, and get flash to get better at animating with broader horizons, or get even better at the shit they do. The easytoon forum is 100% or more better than the pivot section when speaking of maturity and forum etiquette. They speak english to eachother and offer helpful advice, as Pirate said.

Everyone here was a noob. No one was super awesome to begin with on any first forum. No exceptions.

The forums don't need closing, you need pills for your drastic fail, and I am going to sleep.

G'nite.

people of germany, we must adress the growing "noob" problem...
FOR TOO LONG, THEY HAVE BEEN BUMPING OLD THREADS AND MAKING CRAPPY COLLABS,
FOR TOO LONG, THEY HAVE BEEN USING HORRIBLE SPELLING AND GRAMMAR
WE MUST FIGHT THIS PEST BEFORE THEY OVERTAKE US!
my associates and i propose a final solution to the noob problem, a cure to all our troubles. We must not inform the general public until they are all on the trains to the camps.

Dude, there's like 7 billion ****in' people in the world. We only have 25,000 as members.

THAT IS A LOOOONG WAY TO GO.

Hey, you asked for it.
Also, nice Hitler joke. Godwin's law succeeds again.

Wait, what? Man, we are FAR behind quota now. Where are all of our members? Nobody even comes here anymore! We need to advertise, or give out coupons or something!

Maybe getting some noobs will bring more ideas to the table on how to handle our member shortage crisis, folks. Ideas?

We need to get the word out quickly. I'll ask James Moer. He'll know what to do.

IT IS a crisis you damned fool!

You are such a ****ing idiot. I'm not playing, I'm not trying to be funny. You really really are so ****ing stupid. How someone can be as idiotic as you and think the thoughts that you do is really ****ing beyond me. Really what I was going to do was take all your arguments and points and, you know, just debate against all of them. But really reading your points just really made me sad for you. I really do feel sorry for that your a complete idiot like this, I really do. Mass amounts of pity.

Nope, its not like I'm mad or anything. He's just really really stupid and I was just illustrating the fact. I'm actually in a pretty good mood, or was anyways, just watched a semi-sad movie.
