I saw some people hosting collabs and I see that their outcomes are pretty cool. I will gladly make a collab of my own but how can I compile what people submitted for the collab and what are some recommended tips for making collabs?

I currently have the idea, I just wanna know how to compile people send me.

I only use Flash CS6, which I might not be using after a few weeks... because of busyness.

Well here's your problem, you have flash cs6. (I have this problem soo much with flash cs4) Unless i'm mistaken, you cant open flash 8 files. If you can, its simple.
1. Create a new document or use your part for the colab.
2. Have people send you the .fla files for their parts.
3. Make a bunch of layers and just copy/paste all the keyframes into the new document.
4. Save and export.

cs6 can open every flash version that came before it

There's lots of ways to compile files, but to skip all the walls of text, all you're probably going to do is copy all the frames from their layers in the file they submit to you, and paste them in your main file's timeline.
