16 year old high-school student who's struggling with balancing school and art. I'm stressed as fuck, I have no money for university so I have to work extra hard to get in, and at the same time I try to do my best to draw and animate. I still have high hopes though, and aim to go to university in Japan via a scholarship. I also want to take up animation as a career. I'm a bit socially awkward and introverted, but not that much really; I normally go out with friends but sometimes I'd rather stay home on weekends and draw stuff. I'm very emotional and I break down easily which tends to make arguments/discussions end up like shit with my parents, who I disagree with on a lot of things, but I guess they just worry about me and want the best, even though from my opinion they don't know everything and tend to exaggerate. I worry that a lot of the decisions I take later in life when I'm independent will disappoint my parents even though I and many people would agree with me.

I live in a very conservative community, and am in constant internal conflict regarding religion, god, and life etc.

Senior at an engineering high school, and only child of a single mother. I'm an atheist in a Christian household so that makes for some fun times if you can imagine, but other than that I get along pretty well with my mom I think, idk what her thoughts are on the subject. I spend most of my free time hanging out with a few of my close friends, playing games, drawing, animating and watching probably too much anime. Recently accepted into an art university, looking forward to that. I would very much like a career in either graphic arts or animation, pretty much any job where I'd be able to make full use of my talents, but idk, it's possible (although unlikely) that my perspective on that will change over the next couple of years, so I'm basically not stressing it too much and taking things day by day. I like to think of myself as a pretty chill dude, I don't take things as seriously as some other people, or at times maybe as seriously as I should be taking them. But it's whatever, lmao. I'm into all kinds of music, like I'll pretty much listen to anything if I think it sounds nice, not that picky, and I'm also really into all kinds of clothes. In pretty much the same vein as the music thing, I buy anything that I think looks nice. Not with my mothers money though lol, I don't have like a job job, but I do like odd jobs here and there and I buy and resell things occasionally, so that pretty much pays for my clothing although of course not much else lol. I'm a 14 year-old 2nd year student that probably the only 2nd year student in our school who studies ActionScript and JavaScript. Which kinda makes me a weirdo in school. I was to start a Game Studio named "Trinity Studio" last school year but I wasn't obsessed that much in animation and programming. I always think theoretically when it comes to real life. I am an anti-social person before I go and register here. My friends and classmates are pretty astonished when I show animations or games I made for them, since I think I'm pretty isolated in our school who animates and programs.... I got a few skills from my dad; a Web Designer; and my mom, a Graphic Artist. Lastly, I never treated my parents like how they should be, maybe I just don't understand why.
