How about a little compromise: If you fail, I will write a new character just for you, but you don't get to modify it in anyway unless we're happy with what you're planning on doing.

No, don't do that. That wouldn't be his character, a big part of the wRHG imo IS creating someone you can call your own character, not a character given to you.
Plus even if you gave him a balanced character he would probably try to sneak in overpowered abilities, I wouldn't trust him not to.

No. It's not acceptable for the lounge to write a character for another person, even with the whole thing that's happened here.

Yep. By my time it's already over. I'm gonna make a new character instead. Besides, this thread is too messed up with so many 'replies'. So a new thread wouldn't be a problem, yes?
