That track reminds me of a majestic casual playlist. I like jamie xx when he gets gritty on production , saw him live aswell (got too fucked to remember his set unfortunately)

On another note

On a related note, RIP Majestic Casual. Channel got shut down based on copyright violations. Apparently some of the music uploaded on that channel was done so without permission.

Anyway, Jamie XX is amazing. In Colour is one of my favorite albums this year.

I can't listening to this goodamn band's albums. Though the newest album is super mellow and I'm not sure if I dig that too much.

Nah, not really. Suicide and Boybands slowly falling apart isn't my cup of tea.

I personally enjoy most songs made by Two Steps From Hell. Also a big fan of several Newgrounds artists that do electronic music. For some reason I don't like music with lyrics, so I tend to avoid songs like that unless they are a very very good exception.

Two Steps From Hell is the most mediocre garbage ever made. There is not a modicum of originality in their work, using the same ostinato patterns over and over with the same generic instrumentation. They're the mother of all pop music.

At least E.S. Posthumous retains some originality. Vonlichten is also decent.

On the contrary to Externus' opinion, I quite enjoy Two Steps from Hell. Not all of their songs are masterpieces, but they make good music for games or movies.

They're great marketing music or background music. Not great as an actual intelligent listening. Just because it has strings doesn't mean it has any content or value, you know. Lots of music from the Romantic era was complete nonsense, droning on 45 minute cacophonies of random notes with no clear purpose or melody.

On the other hand however, I tend to enjoy their music and the instruments involved. It may not make it good to you, but I personally like it. :)
