You tried a few cool things, and actually kept the battle pretty well balanced, but I feel like the animation was pretty sub-par. You really need to work on the basics, from easing to stiffness to most other things. Something I feel is holding you back is that you are animating things that are so unrealistic (like the air attacks) as opposed to aiming for greater realism, which is much better for learning to get better as an animator. Air fights are fine when you want to show great intensity, but they can't be a way to get around having to animate more difficult movements. Overall, it looks like you put quite a bit of effort into that animation (with the effects, cinematics, etc.) but focusing on more realistic topics will help you improve faster.
Here are a few tutorials that I've found really helpful for pivot:

Funny thing im not a pivot user i use flash but anyway thanks for the advice ill try to look into it and i just like air attacks i just cant ease the air attacks cause im terrible with easing that and school sucks so theres that...sooo yeah sorry i could not make it any better ^^;

This was made on flash? All the effects, speed lines and even the text looks like pivot. Why didin't you use the text tool for the text? Of why didin't you export it to .swf? It would surprise me if that was on flash. Plus, the weapon fu has made is for pivot..... how did u use it on flash?

It really depends on you. Flash is better for effects and shit even though pivot can do stuff too. Pivot is nice because you don't have to retrace the character but rly, it's not that big of a deal...
Anyways I'm sure you can decide for yourself hahaha
