I actually see what you're doing. I wanted to make a big dump so I'll actually do what you're saying. For the next thing I'll see if I can't work in your responses and shit.

It's weird because we're not on the same timezone but I'll do my best.

We can't be too far off. Though my night shift job has me awake at late hours of the night. But sweet that should be fun :)

I'll start RPing up again once I'm off my phone and not busy with work stuff.

OOC: Oh man, Mick's still alive, though if we lose that's still bad. Perfect time for character development though, or trying to. As far as I know, he's not unconscious.

IC: Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. I'm gon' die Mick swore to himself. Hell this is what I get for goin' at it alone! His eyes wide. Mick, you fuckin' moron, the whole thing's gon' get to hell 'cause'a ya own slipup. He mentally beat himself and evaluated his choices. Either TRY to escape, wait and see what happens and probably get tortured, or get himself killed on purpose or otherwise.

This's useless, I've been hauled up before. Think. He took time to look around observing every detail there is to observe inside the truck. They wouldn't interrogate him here, in a running van, it was too distracting for everyone. Then again if thats what they did, he'll have an easier time.

OOC: Gonna initiate my "plan" after I PM Cook.

OOC: This is great, Cook.

Veeran's grimace was mixed with pain and frustration. He should have killed that pretend-cockney fuck when he had the chance. We had Adrian, but these new complications could pull the plug on all their plans. Using his sniper scope, he saw the license plate number of the Van carrying Mick.

"We need to go after them. Now."

Veeran wasn't asking. If Hess's men managed to beat the truth out of Mick, they would know exactly who was behind this and what they were looking for. They wouldn't even have to beat it out of him, from what he could gather, Mick cared only for his own skin and would sell them out for a used toothpick.

"We don't have the firepower to hold them off at HQ if Mick tells them where we've been camping. When we do manage to wring a confession out of Adrian, it will be meaningless because they'll know we've captured him by force AND they'll be able to prove it. Any evidence we gather will be moot. Not only that, but it will be a nightmare to get Markose ANY votes if they get wind of the fact that we've just kidnapped a rival PAC figure."

Veeran knew that panic was the enemy. The ache in his back was starting to bother him. But if one domino fell, they all fell together. He had to keep it together.

"Jy and Victoria, do what you need to to hack in to the road security systems now. We need eyes and ears on where they are headed. The guards have left the place completely so you should be safe for now. Hack into that system, block the traffic lights, send false messages to patrol cop cars. Do whatever is absolutely necessary to slow down their pace."

Veeran chimed in on his headphones to Liston. The doctor had proved to be far more... eccentric than he had thought. That might not be a bad thing.

"Doctor, as a medical man, I trust you can... extract some information from Adrian immediately. We don't have time to take him to the bay. We might need him revived as soon as possible so he can provide us with any information whatsoever regarding where they might be taking Mick. We are on a clock here, and we'll need to work fast."

Veeran hurried to the rooftop elevator, still speaking while he scrambled down.

"Mr. Roth, I hope you still have those weapons ready with you. We are going for a little ride. Calvin, take the wheel, and head straight towards those black vans. As long as they suspect that Adrian is in the van with us, they won't blow us straight to hell. But we don't have that problem, do we?"

Veeran wiped a bead of sweat off his brow.

"We shoot the van down, carrying Mick. Shoot if off a bridge, shoot it into a building. We'll need to improvise immediately based on the situation. No hostages. No survivors. If Mick dies too, so be it. I've sent Peter an emergency text to have a much faster vehicle headed towards us. Once we take care of the job, we get into it and get the hell out. Sounds good?"

OOC: So we grabbed Adrian yes? Yay Jy did something XD Yea my apologizes, that was a fucking beautiful chapter, sorry for not saying anything about that.

The death of the guards wasn't as troubling to him as he would've thought. He was from the slums, people died all the time for stupid reasons. But they had a job to do and he had to at least do his part. He hooked his arms under Adrian's and quickly began dragging the man out as swiftly as he could.

Jy limped heavily, teetering as he held up Adrian as they made it back to the van. "Ow ow ow ow ow," he muttered with every step on his left leg. As they reached the van Jy nearly lost his grip, "Oh I am not fit for this type of physical labor." He complained. He placed down Adrian with a heavy drop and then turned to see what everyone else was looking at. "Hey what's up? What're we..." He stared at the black van. "Oh god." He looked for a security transformer. "If anyone is good at hacking, I should be able to open up a red lights camera box for you to tap into."

Victoria's heart was pounding wildly. The intensity of the mission and her deception upon Adrian, the death of those guards, and now without a single moment to gather her wits it seemed that everything was going wrong. It was hard to catch her breath as she stood in her disguise, her shapely figure illuminated by the city lights and taking in the chilly night air.

But there was still hope. Victoria was much more than just a pretty face.

"Excellent, Jy." She managed to smile, taking her place to his side. "If you can open up a box for me, I will have no trouble hacking into it. Comrades," she pressed a finger to her ear, speaking onto her microphone to the others. Her voice was tense. "Jy and I will be your eyes. Keep me informed on everything that's happening. I will only be able to watch the streets, and I must know any complications that arise."

"Jy, your communicator." She held out a hand for it with no pockets of her own to carry hers with, and without wasting a breath she began dialing to contact Peter. "Victoria here. I will need a vehicle too. A fast one, if I'm to make it in time to help if something goes wrong." She said, with no time to be formal. "And additionally..." Even through all the stress, a vicious grin spread on soft lips as she made her last request. "Please make sure there's weaponry in its trunk. I think a FN FAL would suit me well."

More than a pretty face indeed. If the need arose, Victoria was ready to go in guns blazing if the situation required it.

OOC: Captain I want to send you a pm but your inbox is full. So I'll post the more general question here, but please clear your inbox so I may ask you something else. Where can we assume the box is? Because there's some that're on the floor or on the pole but like eye level. Then there's those you can only get at with a crane. So which one would it be?

OOC: Dude just assume that its somewhere reachable and RP it. If Cook replies saying "You can only get it with a crane", then our entire plan and RP is fucked. :(

Liston shakes his head. "I don't see how we're going to extract information from someone who's currently overdosing on morphine. It takes quite a lot to cause unconsciousness. I have a vial of Naloxone in case he stops breathing, but unless we want to stop his heart we don't have the time."

This was bad. Whatever Adrian knew could make the difference, but they'd have to roll with the punches. If things go awry, they might even lose Adrian and whatever information or confession they needed from him.

"Doctor, do you think you could get Adrian back to the medical bay on your own? We'll get Peter to send you another car. If at any point, they get the drop on us, we'll need at least one of us to question Adrian alive. Roth and I might not make it out of this one if things go south. At this point, we only need them to THINK Adrian is in the car if they start firing at us at all. This is a million to one shot as it is. If word has gotten out that Adrian is missing, all his security forces will be converging. Trying to chase them down will be suicide."

Veeran knew they had to pull a rabbit out of the box. But what could do they do? What could possibly hap... Yes.

"Fuck. His phone. Get his fucking phone. It should still be in his clothes."

Veeran scrambled out of the elevator. There was no time for instructions.

"Ms. Artemovich and Jay, I trust you can break into the simple lock of a phone. Find out who he made calls to, and find out if there is any trace of a security chief on his contact list. They'll be on red alert about his whereabout. Break whatever tracer code they would have on his phone. They might have already assumed that his kidnappers would leave the phone behind to not be followed. But we might need this for the plan."

The elevator opened. Veeran knew what must be done. Whether Jy and Victoria could crack the phone or not, there was a small caveat to get through to the guards.

"They will be out on the lookout for him in any way possible. Chances are they will have the tap on his phone, for both calls and messages. Men like this are normally plugged into a security system where they can be tracked in case they go missing. I'm more than willing to bet that if I send his number a message now, they'd be able to monitor the exact message."

Veeran pulled out his own phone, the one he used for his more sinister purposes and brought up Adrian's number. It was a good thing they did their research on him. As he reached the others in the team below the building, near the van, he read the message out for all to hear.

"Dear worried chicklings. We have your rooster with us. Bring our shit-pigeon back to the strip club immediately and retrieve your fowl. Turn back immediately or we eat Fried Chicken tonight."

Veeran looked at his team mates searchingly.

"If I send this, and they read this, they will be heading back here. Adrian can't be here when that happens. Doctor, I think you'd best leave and get to the medical bay. We need a confession wrung out of Adrian regardless of what happens here."

He turned to Jay and Victoria.

"Find another box out of sight immediately and hack into it. Keep track of the traffic camera. We need to know when they turn around and when they are coming for us. They're probably going to ambush the hell out of this place, we'll need to know how many cars are approaching the club and from which direction. Don't let them catch sight of you, Victoria. You were the last person seen with him and they'll come after you the second they stop you. If we had more time we could use you to play the damsel-in-distress card and infiltrate them, but that bastard Mick could sell you down the river."

He took out his gleaming sniper rifle.

"We aren't going to out-shoot them. They have too many men, and too much firepower. I am going to take point again at the top of the building. When they are, I will send them another message to bring Mick out, in exchange for Adrian. When that happens, I will shoot that bastard personally between the eyes."

He threw a glance at Roth.

"I have a challenge for you, Mr. Roth. Those smoke grenades of yours, lets see how good they actually are. Find a concealed place inside the club and hide there. When I give you the signal and blow Mick's brains out, we'll need you in position to lob the smoke grenades at them and blow fire from that gun of yours. They won't risk shooting back in the smoke because they might kill Adrian. Create whatever chaos you can, kill as many as you can, and get the hell out of there. I will hide within the building once I've taken the shot. They might know the rooftop that I'm sniping them from, but the building itself is far too vast for them to search on a hunch."

He took one last look at the Van.

"I think you better hurry, Calvin and take the doctor to the medical bay. The longer we wait, the more dangerous it is for our patient."

He hoped that this one last ditch effort would save them the trouble.

"Dr. Liston, if you could contact Peter and tell him of the new plan. We'll need new vehicles, new weapons and new guns HERE. Now. Anyone have any suggestions or changes? We don't have a lot of time."

Veeran kept his finger over the 'Send Message' button and waited to see if his team mates had anything to say.

"I, uh, I don't recall saying anything about a medical bay. My license was revoked several years ago. We can take him to my apartment, though, I have some basic medical equipment there. Send me Peter's contact info and I'll get him up to speed."

Veeran inhaled deeply. He had assumed the absence of shadows in in the doctor's behaviour indicated he was a room full of light. Rookie mistake. There were no shadows in a room full of darkness either.

"You're Markose's personal physician and you don't have a medical license? Just get the hell out of sight and take him to some place safe, please. Make sure he this man doesn't die, Doctor. Apparently this team is full of men undeserving of complete trust. We have a lot to discuss if I make it out of this alive. Jy will text you Peter's details."

Veeran looked at Jy and the others, waiting to see what they had to say before pushing the Send button.

Calvin blows air through his teeth. "Alright, I can drive the doctor... oh, wait, can't really call you that, huh?... I'll drive Mister OCD out of here with Adrian. But as for that talk, it'll have to wait until I at least have some whisky in me. I'm already feeling a bit out of it with this whole schtick."

"Do me a favour and fix us all drinks when you get there, Calvin. I have a feeling we'll need it if we ever make it out of this alive."
