I'd watch my own funeral, because why not?
Edit: Also, Hew, you gotta get over this weird "third option" thing you've got going on. Seriously.
Would you watch your own funeral?

Linger. I'm interested in what remains of me after my death. If nothing much then I'll just spend the two years "spectating" the world like in videogames.

Funny how you're the one bringing it up, and I've even removed that hashtag from my sig.
Checkmate, sir.

I'm following Nish's idea. If my death was premature and that I still have a lot of things left to do, I'd move on on the spot as I'd rather not be reminded of all the failures and crushed dreams I've left behind. However, if my death was ripe, I'd linger to see what sort of legacy and how'd people continue to view me.
And I have a really sweet afterlife idea which I'll save for another thread.

Removing the hashtag doesn't mean you no longer believe it to be true.

Me believing it or not has nothing to do with me no longer mentioning it, sir, which is why I have Smile in checkmate. Yourself as well.

Yeah, just keep telling yourself whatever makes you feel better at night.

I'd watch it.
I want to see what people have to say about me; good or bad. I mean, they will never say most things in your face or directly at you and if they had anything harbored deep inside of them about me, at least I can get to know that before I pass on for good. The first two years may be hurting as I watch them slowly get used to the fact that I'm gone and move on with their lives. It would be nice how big an impact I leave with how big I hole I left in their lives. Its not big since I didn't really actively do much but maybe for some I did.
I want to know that some.

i don't want to stick around for two bloody years after death, unable to even fuck with people. screw that. i don't care enough what other people think to justify that amount of boredom. i'd rather just begin the next adventure.

Since death would be the only scenario where "everybody will love you",
I'd like to watch it.
Knowing who really loves you and backstabbers who only want to use you for personal gains.
Then I'd regret knowing/befriending the latter for two years.
Like ErrorBlender, I want to know what they felt about me before I pass on.
