Something about me i played lol for about 3 years (since season 2) i swiched to dota2 and now i have around 1.3k hr into it i 2.9k solo mmr, 3.0k party mmr.

If you are from EU i would like to play with some of you here and teach you a thing or 2 that i know about game, i play often with oxob and i usuly go in a party with him and yes Oxob3000 does play dota; alot!

So I have a 20% abandon rate.

And I hate the new low priority matchmaking system. It's hard to find a match in All Random...

All Pick was a bit ok. Although it took longer than the usual matchmaking. But when it hit All Random, I had to sit for 30+ minutes just to wait for the match to be found. Might as well wait for my LoL timer which is 10 minutes lower.

I play both. I spent 200+ hours on d2, which is really low, but I'm not really into it. I play it with my IRL friends when they ask me to.

Honestly, I like the AR as punishment. It lessens those that abandon games and leave what is supposed to be 5 on 5 games into 2 v 5 or worse. Whats with the 20% though? Internet connection?

AR punishment is better than the LoL punishment.
With AR, you can still (somewhat) enjoy the game, while with league you could just be banned.. indefinitely.

With Lifestealer getting an aghs (Alchemist, anyone?), huge buffs, and Space Cow (Spirit Breaker) getting a cooldown reduction for his empowering haste (which, in fact, doesn't do that much -.- ), expect 3 man Na'ix bombs! (Pudge? Rot does more slow now.) Yay.

They'd be inside a Storm Spirit.

But they nerfed Storm Spirit so he has less speed and vision while flying. Not sure if that does change him too much, but yeah.

I played lol since like end of season 1 so...yup... and i didnt played it since like almost a year now...(I have to move my account to other server to play :C) and i didnt played dota for long as well, and recently came back to it...

What i know for sure , first few weeks/days of this new update will be pure chaos ;_;

+Its awesome that they adding new stuff to Naix (my fav hero :3) in 2 patches in a row.

Haha. Na'ix is my favorite carry. Nice that they buffed him a lot.
I main Rubick now, it's so fun.
Rubick, after the buff, may be a viable mid again.

I'm thinking about getting into DotA. I used to play Dota 1 a lot and kinda wanna know how much it's changed before I just go instalocking Doom.

Same principles, better graphics. Begin playing immediately. I'm assuming you're smart enough to read a few guides and watch a few games on Youtube before you jump right in. Doom is a good choice.

Doom? Eh, try Sven, I think it might be easier. Or maybe Weaver.

Let him play who he wants. I'm sure he doesn't expect to go on a rampage as soon as he begins playing. The best way to learn DOTA 2 is to get the shit absolutely kicked out of you because it is a game that punishes mistakes so much.

I guess you're right. Or be like me and play a billion bot matches.
