You do indeed remember correctly. It's just damn hard to find blonde sideburns the week before Halloween. Also they wouldn't have matched by hair.

There aren't many people in Britain who want sideburns full stop. My sideburns there are actually repurposed fake eyebrows. And even those were bought from a costume shop. I don't know where one would find fake facial hair for non-novelty purposes.

Well, they are designed to be part of a costume, Halloween or otherwise. Since most people have eyebrows already, if you're going to fake them you might as well go big or go home.

For cheap canned beer, yeah, it's pretty good. It's not as nice as a good bottle of ale, but it's the backbone of my beer drinking because of its solid quality/cost ratio.
