I'm sorry, I know there's a person in that picture, but the first thing I noticed was the tree that got snapped in half behind your left ear. Do your hobbies include breaking trees in half effortlessly with your inhumanly large biceps?

Also, your face vaguely reminds me of an actor but I can't put my finger on it...

Yes. I'm a lumberjack who doesn't use any tools.

And maybe you think I look like that one actor from a film series called The Keeping.

Brutal.

But no, I wasn't thinking of that show, although I do see the resemblance.

Smile said he wanted to see my style. This isn't the greatest pic of me, but it is the best I have on this laptop. I might get a better one on purpose next week.

Either this will work:

Or this will work:

(I was doing some extreme Frisbee with some of the guys just to explain the situation in this shot)

Nope. Never said that. People have conjured up this super formal image of me that isn't me. I like to look snappy often (right now I am wearing those jeans with a black merino wool cardigan over a black ribbed turtleneck with black Rockports on me feet) but generally I just do nice-casual. Also, I sometimes go for more comfort, but still nice...say, with my cowboy boots and a dusty brown sports jacket with a simple white button-up and my jeans. Khaki cargo pants, flat-front khakis and grey pants....those are the sorts of things I wear.

Heck, I only have one suit, and that's only because I attended a family wedding.

I NEVER wear suits. Sports coats are as close as I get.

Wrong kind of picture. This is for pics of the members themselves. Artwork goes in Show Off down below and use these tags for large images btw: [noparse]

Don't take this as an insult but I expected something more stylish. You kind of look like an average guy who wears whatever's on top of your drawer. Again, this isn't an insult or anything, there's nothing wrong with it, but this really isn't what I had in mind when you said Wall-street "touch of modern/dapperman" style. Wall-street is an icon in the world of finance, not in fashion, so I don't know why you're surprised that people expected you to be wearing a corporate attire. Touch of modern/dapperman also does not conjure images of "nice-casual". It conjures images of people with undercuts and beards wearing a blazer, a button-up, semi-fitted chinos, and oxfords, all with colors that work well together and make the wearer stand out (a look that comes expensive and is difficult to pull off if not a model), instead of all black everything.

I'll post a better pic sooner or later. I apparently did not give the proper impression with my description.

Anyhow, that aside, I was talking about impressing girls. There is a difference between how I dress when just on an ordinary day, and when I'm "out and about". I was playing frisbee with the guys. I'm not going to dress nice for that...

Tomorrow's sunday, so I'll be looking sharp for church. I'll prob get a pic then.
