Yes, the pennification of Stickfigure would yield more returns in terms of pure equity capital because the preferred dividends would be at a much higher turnover rate.

Is... is this whole post a joke? Like, you're actually saying that CJ is going to make more money if Stickpage became a corporation?

No it isn't. When you look at the figures closely, it would make a LOT more money if he goes public with it. A single stock alone of a company that is frequented by thousands of visitors every day could be worth a lot more money than it is now. Lol j.k thats bullshit and makes no sense. But lets keep it going.

Oh ok now I get what you're saying Nish, but I think the potential new business models that CJ can work with because of the nature of Stickpage will make the ordinary shares to be what's going to pull all the investors. There are a lot of ways for CJ to make the voting rights be the priority of the stockholders, instead of the higher dividends that the preference shares can give, because in the long run no financial manager from a reputable corporation is going to invest in a stickfigure website just to get their idle money to grow. Although I do think that the initial capital needed to jump start a new stickpage is going to take quite a while to regain, since looking at the Income Statements from the past 3 years, stickpage has been going strong because of the lower taxes that single proprietorships have the luxury of.

I'm looking over the investor portfolio (as well) over the last 2 years and you might actually be right. He might wait for an angel investor OR a higher R.O.I scheme before he makes the big move. Right now the trading accounts are in the red, but his working capital is sold. So what you predicted might well come true.

So yeah, Stickpage isn't doing to die out anytime soon.

Honestly though, I think he'd be safer keeping it as a sole prop because IIRC the IRS has been going under some unexpected administration overhaul and that might affect any future internal restructuring of businesses in general. I'm looking at SP's financial position and I can see some quite shady accounts, especially under the overhead line items, that can possibly trigger the IRS to get its panties in a bunch like it usually does. Dealing with that is just going to be a lot of manhours, especially for accounting because the ledgers are going to be a bitch to even update and remake. I even heard the IRS counted the pennies in the fucking petty cash funds of one of the recently incorporated companies. The headache's just going to be brutal and I'm not sure if CJ is competent enough to go through all that.

If CJ is really going to make a new site I just hope that it would have a better design than SP has now and if making a new site is going to be better why not make it?

But smile think of the marketing he would have as well as the funds to hire free Lance professional animators and pay them the same thing one first place winner in a competition would get. He would have four times as many daily viewers as he does now and major sponsors ready to back him up. It's business :/ you guys sshould get on irc more, he's been talking about it about lot in his channel

Actually on the Stickpage discussion thread, Jeff just revealed some of it. The balance sheet of SPP seems rather good now, I think the cash flow can be enhanced quite greatly with a great deal of equity investment from capital expenditure, hopefully from an influx of profits from the dividends of the working cash flow.

It has a limited life span that is limited by how long the internet will remain free or online. It's like asking how long the human race will survive?

You are kinda right exept internet isn't free, you pay for it. Second, internet will never die or go offline - that will happen if it only gets replaced by who knows what ...

It's just that lately it is almost only about BSE. At least from what I can see.

That's because the BSE is less demanding in terms of everything else. The BSE is an event divided into weeks and it only requires the minimum amount of supervision. If these special events grew on trees then they wouldn't be special anymore, would they?

All sites come to die at some point, no matter how glorified they once were. I believe newgrounds is treading down that path despite being one of the most influential sites on the face of the internet.

The idea of sites I highly doubt will ever die, and Fluidanims is proof of that.

I actually noticed that Newgrounds is a lot less popular than before. :/
