Vanilla Deadpool can kill Vanilla Joker no problem. As said, unless the clown can trap the merc in liquid adamantium, he won't die [or lose].

If in terms of general villainy, I'd go for the Joker.

So then you need to specify the terms of the battle. It would be unfair to give the Joker prep time + resources and give Deadpool none. If you give me enough prep-time and resources, I can beat Galactus with the Ultimate Nullifier but that would be absurd to assume unless specifically stated.

So I am nerd and I could say Deadpool is one of the strongest characters ever. 1st off he is immortal - He can reattach his limbs, he feels almost no pain. 2nd he cannot be brainwashed because Deadpool is insane. If Joker tries to do so he will probably have a brain fart. 3rd It is Deadpool ... he is not even a hero. He is neutral. He killed Spiderman ... HE EVEN KILLED WOLVERINE and wolverine has a Garen passive x 9999. Deadpool once had his head blown up to pieces which din't kill him. It only made him angry. So as Joker ... he is more close to a normal human which means he cannot survive a bullet to the head and from knowing Deadpool and his weapons, he will most likely shoot till he has no more ammo.

Edit: Oh yeah and not to say that there was a comic series for Deadpool and how he kills ALL OF THE MARVEL. Can you imagine... he damn kills everyone.

Edit2: If we are not talking about fighting. I'd chose Deadpool he is just too much fun :D

Yeah, in fucking normal terms, like barely superhuman terms, he is unkillable. But off the top of my head, I can name 20 characters who can KILL him, and this is without putting any thought into it.
