He is made of iron, so bladed weapon attacks are not exactly the most effective
When he hits, he hits hard, and it's not easy to parry
He's really heavy, so he won't step on you. He will step through you
He has a bad ass quadruple bladed staff with shotgun ends

He's pretty damn slow, so none of that dashing that you see in most RHGs
He typically doesn't think about what he's doing, so he can be tricked
He will melt in extremely high temperatures
He will slow down even more in water (also, he can't swim)
Story
Once upon a time, there was a scientist named Bob. Bob had the dream to make the most delicious foods in the world. Eventually, Bob started Yummy Inc. This became the ruling company of the food industry. one of the many projects Yummy. Inc had been working on was fusing an iron girder with a potato. Bob thought that this would be what would truly make his name known for centuries to come. Unfortunately something very, very unfortunate happened that day. One of Bob's workers, Joe, was a man-ape that had been found in the highest reaches of Mount Everest. Joe accidentally shed on the experiment causing it to go horribly wrong. The fusion was a success, but there was no delicious, metallic treat. Instead, in it's place stood the first potato-man. They rightfully named him Splice, because he was spliced from the DNA from a potato, an iron girder, and an ape-man. One day, Splice escaped by smashing down the walls of the facility. He ran across a military weapons experimentation facility on the way and grabbed his weapon. One day Splice was watching some TV and saw somebody fighting with a staff, and that's where he learned his amazing skills.
