Alright, Signups are done. We have
Thirteen Racers today. Good. That means I can afford to experiment more on certain tracks (if we had less I couldn't risk losing alot in a short period of time). I have taken all your entries and shortened them or summarized them on the front page. Check them out if you want. For those with short descriptions, I even embellished them to fit everyone's standard.
Ai and Nish, you've not submitted car descriptions. I know you have an ornament Nish, but that's an add-on, you still have to make your own shit up. If I find that you still have not posted an entry by the 2nd Leg, I will make you entries myself. Of course, there's the possibility that you have forgotten about this (unlikely but still) and that will cause you to spinout and die anyways.
ANYWAYS.
LET THE RACE BEGIN!!!
First Leg: The Long Curve
Sexy Lil' Caelo stands at the center of the track. Everyone revs their engines and pedals their pedallables. Caelo waves the flag and OFF THEY GO!
The Long Curve is an extremely easy piece of track, meant to segregate the bunched up racers as neatly as possible. But there will still be careless Drivers who might try and do something stupid crazy. Watch Out!
Instructions:
1) Everyone currently has
1000 CCs or Car Creds. These will be used to determine how well you Race.
2) Each one of you PM me a number of CCs you would like to spend.
The higher the value, the higher you will place in this leg. Remember, there are 12 Legs so spend wisely or amazingly.
3) For Convinience's sake, please PM me
with the CC Value IN THE TITLE OF YOUR PM. This is so I don't have to open tabs of PMs and I can recheck the values easily. If you need to actually PM something please say so (like put a
in your PM Title).
4) For how your actions are resolved as well as other rules, please refer to the Front Page.
5) The deadline for submission of CC's is 36 Hours from this post. Good Luck.
Now it has come to my attention that Johny Bravo has already sent me a PM before the race even began. I will accept it. For not reading the rules, that decision is locked and irreversible, tough luck.
He also posed a very interesting question: If you lose when you have no CCs left wont it be just easier if you give 1 CC every round then you could last 1000 legs?
Normally, yes. You can even do the classic Liar's Game Everybody Wins solution of dividing 1000 by 12 and working the math per Leg. However, note that ties are broken by how fast you PM me so someone will always lose out. Will you all conspire to ideally vote the same pts? Or will you betray each other by being late but adding a single pt difference? That's what this game is all about. The fact that Johny has no idea that slower tied votes lose out means that he has not read the rules at all. Please do so.
If ya'll have any other questions, comments, discussion, etc. You can post them here. This thread will serve as a chatroom for the race so even Spectators can post. Even eliminated Racers.
