This is the most hilarious, small piece of literature I've ever read. I love Johnathon Swift so much now because of this. It won't take long to read. You really want to read it. Here's a link to the text:

Seriously, <3. It may be complicated or whatever, but if you take one takes a bit of time to understand what he's saying......
....wow.

It's not even worth discussing.
It's amazing how many stupid people in my class actually thought he was serious.
I hated my class.

Doesn't that statment contradict its'elf?

It seems pretty cut and dry to me, I don't see why you'd have to spend six years of class discussing it.

It's not complicated at all. If you know the stereotypes of Irish people, then it's really simple.
A giant satire that back fires all the stereotypes at the British rule.
It's pretty damn creative though.

I didn't read it at all in school. I just read it for it's awesome satiricalness.
edit: I, myself, find it not to be so complicated... People I've shown this to seem to have told me that. I thought I might just warn people who don't have a huge intention span. :P

Same things in the situation, imo. But I did make that mistake. x'cuse me.

And than I said
"She had the intention to sex me"
but her intention span was small so then she was like
"I'm not horny anymore"
Get it?

"He had the intention to read Modest proposal"
but his intention span was so small he wa slike
"I'm not interested anymore"
That's my point. I think, in this case, the terms can be interchangeable.
