I meant what it passively controls and i think you know that. But anyways, maybe it doesn't control cells but i know it does control several involuntary muscle movements.

Even if Catena could subconsciously control some of the chains, that would mean she would have to give up some of her subconscious focus on more important things like breathing. That wouldn't be so great.

2 more questions:

Can she only control chains that she summons, and can her control be broken?

What is happening with the earth she pulls chains from? Or, how are these chains forming?

Control cannot be broken unless she loses focus upon it before it has been given a command.

The chains... I'm drawing a blank. Gonna say something about Earth Metals and Earth Minerals.

Why not go my way and say she has a pocket dimension full of them, and can summon them from the Earth by just having the dimension become in tune with it or somethin', and that it can only become in tune with the Earth.

In all seriousness, I like your character. One, very powerful, very versatile, power that allows grand use of a writer's imagination. I suggest taking Waffle's suggestion about the pocket dimension or doing some similar infinite supply sort of deal.

Yeah, that would be ideal. Earth minerals... kinda far-fetched. I'll think of something.

Edit: I changed it so that Catena summons the chains from any other dimension, which a lot of other wRHGs should have access to. This makes everything less complicated and more interesting when friting (fighting/writing) against these guys.

Quick question. Could Catena theoretically pull someone into another dimension? This isn't a suggestion. I was just wondering.

Theoretically should could unknowingly pull someone out of another dimension (e.g. they grabbed the chain and rode it out of that dimension), but not the other way around.

So Catena went from manufacturing chains out of earth to becoming an interdimensional chain-thief. 'kay.

Is it one specific dimension she's stealing chains from, or could it just be any dimension?

I love how her backstory is just "Catena was bored of her life, so she decided to try to do some magic. It turned out that she was innately gifted in a completely different form of magic, though, and now she's here."

Basically. Let's put it this way. She THINKS she is pulling them from the Earth. She's not. There's no specific dimension, but mathematically speaking if you pull from an infinite amount of dimensions, most of them will be uninhabited.

Plus, kids are like that, ok? Sometime we just want to be special. Like, magic special.

Pocket dimensions, Strongest. They're personal dimensions. It's not an alternate dimension. Handyman has his own pocket dimension roughly the size of the solar system where he stores all his arms. It's not an infinite amount but it's a damn lot.

Actually, good point. Same idea though, if you look at it scientifically if Catena pulls from one set dimension or "bubble" she's in the green (did I even use that right?). Any-who it's a dilemma whoever I'm friting will have to discuss with me.
