Hey guys, grandpa here. I used to be a member of SFDT, Shiftlimits and Fluidanims, but sadly couldn't find the time to continue animating once college hit 4 yrs ago so... I stopped! Happens to many people I guess.

I'm posting here tonight because I was wondering if anybody knows where one could find past collabs like the Wall collab (link below is a youtube vid showing a part from the collab to give you guys a better idea of what i'm talking about) and maybe other animations that were posted on those websites' uploading section...although as a few might know the Shiftlimits Hub never got too far off the ground. Lemme know, I have a part in that collab and I haven't been able to see it in years!

On a side note, which animators are the next-gen terkoiz' and Lf2's? Or whoever you thought was crazy talented a few yrs back. Post any you think are worth checking out!

Fluidanims? Sorry, never heard of such thing...

It's a kind of thing you do with your hands, ignore that bit though. Silly of me to add that.

Duckkite sounds so familiar, but don't mind me. I just used to lurk shiftlimits alot.

To answer your question, I believe it is more pertinent to head for Hyun's Dojo and try your luck faster. That is where most of the regular FA people went when the site went down, including some of the usuals like Terk himself.

With the exception of some very rarely-hosted and slow events and competitions that stone hosts around here, there hasn't been any significant animators in awhile. At least, not in the public eye. The people who's anims end up on the frontpage of this site, almost do not often mingle in this forum on a regular basis and are only around for competitions and such.

Hmm actually we used to collect several oldskool FA animations on this thread (have fun nostalgia), but unfortunately we didn't get the chance to find the Wall Collab there in the end :c

As for next-gen Terkoiz, there are so many top-notch animators you can find now. Take a look on Resh's works:

Bartimo is the next Terkoiz, and he has dark magic on his side too.

I was able to see Endo and Hyun come around. They had great fights against fflfll and were great to begin with. Gotta jog my memory on Jomm's work, I think I remember him from IRC more than anything...he does a mean fullbody though! I thought Terkoiz was done after the 4 anims he put out at once, and I definitely didn't realize Lf2 was still going! Great news all around and good to hear from you again too Miccool!

Yea four years is a little long haha my tablet never worked on my laptop, which couldn't handle flash anyway, but on top of that my PC began to crap out more and more when flash was open too long so I kinda figured why bother if i'm going to college anyway? Now that I'm done and just drawing anywhere I can I have the urge to clean my comp at home out and get flash going again.

Dude, your link to The Time Machine made me cry from nostalgia. I pretty much lost it when I saw Jombo <3
