I don't remember swords ever one hitting spears....
Are you really sure about that?

There was a backstab mechanic is SW1, basically if you hit any unit (except giants) from behind they would just basically die in 1 hit and because of fast swordwraths were in this game it was pretty easy for them to do, unless they did the kick or the 360 sword swing animation that takes 7 years to hit.

Maxed leveled swords would either get one hit by archer headshots or one hit everything in their way via backstab. It was so fun xD

This is unrelated but I think there might be a bug when buying a gold member ship on stickempires.

Ah I remember, spears always died in one hit if they were retreating. None of you specified though. :p

@skele Yeah, I always upgraded my swordwrath speed to the max and wrecked everything.

Will their be rebalance for the mobile version

What about next-gen graphics (joke but will it have better graphics than the orginal)

Looks great, but I'm a little confused as to why you need a new animation? O.o
Was the old one not that good or something?

Looks alot better, speaking of swordwraths are they still going to remain their slow kick and extrememly slow sword spin? Or are you guys going to make it faster so swordwrath aren't that inconsistent in their attacks?

Hey guys, We have to use a new program and re animate them because frame by frame takes up too much memory and file size. We will likely allow for more units on screen and the game will be as closely balanced to the original as we can. To someone who knows Stick War 1 very well it may seem quite different (hopefully in all good ways), however if you play casually and haven't played in a while you might not even notice a difference, at least that's what we are going for. We will use many of the old graphics from the old backgrounds and likely do a new hud and maps maybe a few statues to look better, things like that.

The good news is we have licensed some of the old school music from the original too so things are looking up!

Also Jeff from Stickpage has done a great job rebuilding the Stick War Blog website with links and the blog below. I will be posting most updates about the mobile development on there please follow it if your interested.

I don't really mind but will their be any changes to the price of units?

I was playing SW1 today and archer seemed too expensive Giants too cheap and Magikill too expensive

Maybe it's just me and that im used to SE
