So close for both of you but I voted for Styrx because 1. It had much more action 2. He impressed me on how amazing a pivot animation can be as that looked like it was from flash
AtsukeDaime good try I really was torn between you two but you kind of weakened your characters.At the beginning you don't want to start off with the opponent instantly giving you a life threatening wound as it makes it seem go to fast and makes the battle shorter as most of it will be slowing down and breathing because there's a life threatening wound on you.

Styrx has more action and it was so smooth that I have mistaken it for niberius' animation lol. And yeah I was right! He can make a sharp blade like flame :D
I know particles are hard in pivot but you need to work on that more.
As for akatsuki, your flames are good but the movements are wobbly. And long cinematic filter overload doesn't impress me that much.
I voted for styrx but seriously, you guys talk so much in your animations lol.

I thought I was gonna lose because my video had a shitty quality
and the sound fx were not matched to the anim because i was in a hurry
but still
I thought Atsuke's part was good too
it still shows that flash has better quality than pivot
