Smile, your description of her classifies as a Joke Character---a character with only one exploitable gimmick that is in no way fair for half of the roster even if its not entirely OP. Veir has justified his Magikarp entry so it's happened, but you don't so much as say anything remotely justifiable, expecting it to make it in.
Anyways...onwards!
This is gonna sound weird, but if we're going with Veir's interpretation here,
Magikarp takes it easily. I've never known Crash for anything but his tenacity. His villain isn't exactly the worst thing so I don't really see Crash doing anything serious and dark.
Combat-wise they're both easily matched, but
Raphael's got a tough exterior. Literally. Plus, his brutal training exceeds Jak's own, able to take even superhuman levels of torture. He's also the meanest of the 4 turtles and especially in a solo battle he'll have no qualms going all the way.
This is weird. Yamato would take it with just one well-placed shot, but on an even field,
The Kid can easily manage this what with all his tools and weapons. He's also mentally prepared and quite resourceful.
As much as I hate to admit,
FLLFFL would probably cut Red down AND take out all his Pokemon first just to humiliate him. Even at level 99, these pokemon still need to be coordinated and orchestrated by some powerless brat so yeah, I wouldn't put it past him.
Block E Results:
Crash beats Magikarp (7-3)
Jak beats Raph (8-1)
Yamato beats The Kid (7-3)
FLLFL beats Red (7-4)
===============================
Carnage proves to be the harder monster to kill. Also, he's more insane of the 2 and is a serial killer at heart. It would be a slugfest for sure, but endurance-wise Carnage will come out on top.
Duke Nukem. I've played the original games and I can definitely say that his badass overlaps Joe's. Also, he's got guns, including a shrink ray whereby Duke immediately stomps you to death. Joe can't evade that and his ranged capabilities are lacking.
I wanted to abstain this weird battle but it would've caused an unnecessary tie so I'm calling it right now:
Leeroy. Yeah, surprise the first meme entry to actually make it. Leeroy has established himself enough to have his cockiness equate to sheer power. Rayman's powers come from his lums and fairies.
Sorry Cohen, but
Ilidan takes this. Assuming Cohen is as strong as your stereotypical barbarian, that would put him at least on par with Thrall. And Ilidan beats Thrall.
Block L Results:
Carnage beats Gluttony (6-4)
Duke beats Joe (6-4)
Leeroy beats Rayman (5-4)
Ilidan beats Cohen (7-2)

Tiebreaker Results:
Stitch beats Rocket Raccoon (5-4)
As previously mentioned, Ness and Quote will have a first-to-five tiebreaker lightning round. Same rules as before.

Tournament Mechanics:
- The tournament brackets will be formulated using the list above. In case you're wondering, it's not going to be "Cohen vs Guts" then move within the list in an orderly outside in fashion. The way it works is, I'll pick a random high Seeder (in which case only Guts is in the 6-Seed Category) to go up against a random 1-Seeder. Rinse and repeat until we have our 64 pairings. Any curious pairs (like say Conan vs Cohen) will be completely coincidental.
- Every week, a block of 4 Battles (8 Fighters) will be displayed to which you must vote who do you think will win in each battle. I will once again copypaste the stipulations of the tournament for reference. Take the stipulations into consideration when voting. I will also as before, provide an easy copypaste form.
- Discussions are allowed and encouraged. Post anything you can think of: images, videos, essays, flimsy explanations. If you have the tiniest iota of logic that says Luke Cage can defeat the Hulk in a round, then go ahead and post it. You don't have to of course and can just vote straight away.
- To prevent any confusion and to distinguish between just namedropping someone and actually voting for them, I will be requiring all votes to be in BOLD. If it's not in BOLD, it won't be counted. But be careful, once you vote, you can no longer change it!
- Ties will be determined by a Lightning Round whereby a re-vote of those involved will occur alongside the fighters of the next Block. Unlike normal voting rounds, only the first 3 votes will matter...and it is first come first serve!
Battle Stipulations
Take the following into consideration when voting for the winner of each battle:
1) You are voting for who wins it in a battle between the two. Not who is the sexiest. Not who is the most popular. Not who can sing the better tune. You can choose to justify it alongside your vote to convince others or you can just vote whatever you think is right.
2) Rounds are fought 'fairly'. It means however you want it to mean. But in general it means it's on a setting that gives advantages and disadvantages to both parties without compromising the world, and both parties cannot call their allies unless it is in their ability to do so.
3) Both characters know they are fighting but will not know who they are facing against until the Round occurs.
4) Take both character's personalities into consideration. Despite those feelings, they will both want to win no matter what. A character in this tournament cannot choose to go against winning no matter what.
5) Both characters will be fighting in their strongest consistent state. No temporary power-ups. So if you nominate Goku, he will not or cannot be in his Super-Saiyan Form unless it's as a finishing move or something brief. Link will have his default equipment of upgraded arrows and bombs but none of his relics from the games. Ben Tennyson's alien forms however is fine if you take into consideration his watch recharging and his forms dissipating after a few minutes.
6) All fights are fought to the death. If personality or something else restricts that character from doing so, it's until one of them is disabled or cannot continue battling.

This one's not easy to compare. Ness has powerful PSI and has beaten a lot of powerful opponents. However, Quote is a robot built for combat and has high expertise in many useful weapons. Also, Ness's most powerful opponent was Giygas. Ness couldn't beat Giygas normally so he went back in time instead and fought him at his earliest and weakest stage(and even then he was quite a challenge.) Quote fought Ballos, someone who has the capacity to destroy islands, head on. Sure, he got help from Curly, but Ness had help from three other people so I think Quote wins out of experience.
Due to the fact that Quote is a robot, he is capable of withstanding huge amounts of damage if he has acquired multiple Life Capsules, which increase his maximum durability. He is also highly skilled in armed combat due to his status as a soldier, with the ability to wield a wide arsenal of weapons, from swords to heavy artillery. Nuff said.
