Alright alright. Basically I've come to the conclusion that in a certain room in my house, my sister's room, electronics just generally act weird and glitch for no apparent reason. Here's some background on this:
So at first I thought it was just that my sister was really bad at using electronics. Every time her laptop, tablet, or phone would malfunction in the weirdest ways. Screens flickering with colors, phones randomly shutting down, and her keyboard and mouse not registering any clicks or key presses when her computer is turned on, despite the peripherals being perfectly fine (I tested them on my laptop). She would click tabs and they would close, and clicking the back button on her browser opened up a new tab??? And she would swear she didn't download any apps, and had checked for viruses.
Ok so then last night, we're sitting in her room, watching Youtube on my laptop, and then suddenly, the same problems happening on her laptop happen to mine, in the same exact way. At this point I was baffled. We take both my laptop and hers out the room. We reboot them. They work fine again. We take them back in and reboot again. The problem persists. I am genuinely confused as to what's going on.

Ghosts, obviously. Call your local electrician or exorcist to take care of the problem.

Your sisters room is connected to that ether thing from Thor: The Dark World

Lol don't be ridiculous, the guy is actually asking for our help. Poltergeist activity is more likely.

The most logical explanation is that there's a magical artifact in her room. Magic and technology don't get along very well, you know. Especially if it's something geared for hexing. Call Harry Dresden and he'll be able to figure it out for you.

This recently happened to my friend Elaine Mallory, and she said Dresden took care of it quite satisfactorily.

He might have ended up burning down the house, but hey. Different solutions for different problems. I can guarantee he'll do you right. Also I totally love you for knowing about that series

Listen. I've watched A LOT of Supernatural in the past. I believe the solution is salt.

How does one cure a problem with Salt, when the problem lies with Salt itself?

Your sister is a Slider. It's the only explanation. Don't believe these hacks.
But seriously it sounds a bit like confirmation bias, or maybe your sister's room is somehow affected by an electromagnetic field that's just enough to cause your electronics to go fucky occasionally.

eh... can you take some pictures?

Haha thanks for the replies.
Could be confirmation bias, or a just a really interesting coincidence. I'll check again.
I don't know about the electromagnetic field though. There aren't any cell phone towers that are too close too us. Only source is the electronics themselves and our 4G connection which is in her room, but I doubt these could be strong enough to have such an effect.

It's most likely a coincidence, which is part of what I meant by confirmation bias. There could be a logical explanation but for some reason you've interpreted the evidence in a way that confirms your belief that a whole room in your house somehow affects electronic devices. It's like people who think anything not immediately explainable was caused by ghosts because they believe ghosts exist and could have caused what happened.

I see what you mean. Alright then. Most likely a coincidence. I will investigate further.

matthew mcconaughey is hiding in the bookshelf and he's trying to send her data about the password to unlock gravity. Just slide the bookshelf over and he'll be there. Don't ask him why he's sweaty and erect, just tell him to leave.
