I have downloaded a mp3 file in 320 bitrate, 7.80 mb file size. I try to import it to flash and it gives an error:
"one or more files could not be imported" (forgot the rest of the error)
I downloaded and installed Smart Audio converter to convert the file into .wav
The converted file does fit into flash 8, but the program has bugs... it converted the song file from 4:35 play time to 2:30
So problem is, how can I import the original file into flash so i wont have this problem. any help?
Flash 8 Audio import, help me.

The Smart Audio might've been the problem.
Try downloading the sound itself as a .wav, get what I'm saying?
Is this mp3 file a song or a sound?

No not right click, like search for the sound as a .wav, like let's say you found a file named "sticks.mp3" but then it's an mp3, then try searching for "sticks.wav".
You get what im saying?
Btw if that's a song then try finding it on youtube, then convert it into a .wav through google. Search "YouTube to .wav" or something like that

Well I got the problem solved. I just used Audacity, imported the original mp3 file and changed its bitrate lower, then saved it again. Thanks for the help though Ipman
