Same basic thing, so just take your anti-religious views and just shut up.
Especially when they get their hands on pottasium chloride. Ouch.
Oh, and I forgot the "Why so serious" line.
My post was a joke, and it's really pathetic that you all didn't see that. Notice that it wasn't 4 paragraphs long.

When you think about it, they didn't know you were joking because you are that ridiculous all the time...

Ah, but I usually have very long arguments. You can tell it's a joke because you didn't have to scroll to read all of it lol.
@jrock: When was the last time you saw me in a debate about religion? THe debate setion is kinda slow right now, just like it always is in the summer.

And nutjobs aren't people. It's actually pretty win-win when you think about it.

Actual people were stupid enough to STARE AT THE SUN UNTIL THEY GO BLIND
So was Galileo. People have their reasons. Wanna go search for a miracle, then stare at the sun and do nothing until the sun is permanently in your sight.

It wasn't a funny joke. I think this is a poorly constructed excuse.
Remember to add the "Why so serious? Let's put a smile on that face" line in every jocular post you make from now on just to bring the confusion level down.
Those people aren't idiots for their religious intentions, it's that they decided to not take a break or anything. Like they'd miss anything if they took an hour. Perhaps they could switch shifts and notify their friends when they see mary?

Imagine the conversation where they were told to look at the sun.
"Hey, man, you wanna see the Vigin mary? If you stare at the sun, you might catch a glimpse!" ::sniggers and runs away::
Honestly, what did they expect to gain from seeing The Virgin Mary? The article didn't say that they thought they'd get an instant one-way ticket to heaven for it or something. These people were way too desperate and stupid to see a religious icon. I guess people are just suckers for "miracles."

Same with Science eh?
"Oh hey man, i heard you're ill. Wanna try this wonder drug i invented?"
Oh no, horrible side effects and i die anyway.
I guess people are just suckers for "Miracle cures"

Maybe that's what they thought. The article isn't 100% accurate on their intentions, as most articles aren't.
I know you think you're above religion, but some people have faith in what they believe in. Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the writers of south park, made a satirical episode on atheism, and I agree with their point: When people believe in god, to them, it gives them hope, making god exist, whether he physically exists or not. I guess people are suckers for "a hope for a better afterlife". lol how ridiculous, rite?

Miracle cures aren't science.
And my post was very obviously a joke.
