Okay so if you guys haven't seen it yet, there's a new version of The Joker circulating the Internetz. I'm talking about this guy:

Jared Leto, who will be playing the Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad Movie. Jeezus, he looks like something out of HOT TOPIC. Now, I know that looks can be deceiving and we won't really know how 'good' this rendition of The Joker is until the actual movie comes out but c'mon, this has to be in contention with one of the worst Jokers ever.

Fortunately, there already was a Worst Joker Champion: The Young Justice Joker a few while's back. Anyone remember him?

Admittedly, he gets alot of flack for just "not being a Mark Hamill Joker", mainly because everything that makes The Joker good turns a complete 180 with this interpretation. Personally I like him as something different, but consensus says he's the Worst Joker Ever.



My question is, at Face Value (without considering Nu Joker's impending movie performance and YJ Joker's comparison to Mark Hamill's Original), which of the 2 is the Worst Joker now? If there was going to be an editorial mandate to make the above 2 Jokers canon, which of the 2 would you absolutely dislike?

You must pick ONE. Reason for this is, I think the world has for the past decade, been jaded about an ideal Joker just because that Joker stood out the longest. So this thread also asks the question: if we're ready to accept a new incarnation, what would you rather keep and would you be okay with that?

Also, if you feel there are worst versions, such as Tim Drake AKA 'Slick' Joker, feel free to voice it as well.

I like Jared Leto's joker much more than Justice League joker…Why, because i hate JL joker's VOICE i mean SERIOUSLY. Also i can't really judge Jared Leto Joker because I've only heard 1 line of dialogue from him.

But the important thing is not everyone can be the Arkam game series joker

I really really dislike the young justice joker

I agree that the Young Justice Joker is more better with a different role rather than a Joker role. His constant changing of high voice to low voice makes him not look/act like Joker even more.
Jared Leto on the other hand, looks creepy as fuck, though the his voice doesnt hit the right Joker voice. But for me, it was a bit more closer than Prettyboy's

When I look at Jared Leto's Joker, he's not the only one who's damaged.

The Young Justice joker was by far the least memrabal but the new Suicide Squad(SS) Joker isn't that bad
He's just different, he's more emo than funny but he's still pretty cool
Comparing SS Joker to the others make him crappy but as a main antagonist he's pretty awesome
Like how Bane of The Dark Knight was, the character was cool but as a Bane he was horrible and to skinny
