The Battle Cats
This guy's units are already pretty far from the game though but the game play is still the same. Fun game. Short, sweet, and simple. The story just can't be taken seriously. In fact, the game doesn't take itself seriously.

You can get some weird cats in that game. My brother downloaded the game a while ago and got a "sengoku god cat". But other than that i agree with what you said. Fun, short, sweet and simple. Of course this can all be seen from the video.

Battleship Craft - a game where you assmble minecraft-esque ships and pit them in sea combat.
I made "Rain of Arrows" aka "Open Fire" (because that's the only thing I say), it's your standard ship except the engine's at the far back (which tilted the vessel) and the rest of the flat deck is filled with nothing but long-ranged cannons. So yeah, before I lost my iPad I was throwing salvos at my opponents (which was the only way to deal with the more difficult enemy ships)
Also, Hewitt you're just showing off now.

Yeah, that's really nice guys.
NOW BACK TO ME!
Punch Quest - www.punchquest.com/
Before Alto's Adventure there was this: An endless runner dungeon crawler where you played as a soldier who punched his way through everything. It's saddled with the usual objectives but also has a TON of upgrades and epic moves you can use in the dungeon. As you get deeper and deeper you can face bosses and eventually supposedly a final boss although I never got that far. It's almost got a roguelike appeal with various things and paths you can stray to. No same playthrough is the same.
Fist of Awesome - www.fistofawesome.com/
Just look at that sweet app art. Get this: It's a beatemup. Where you punch. Bears. That's it. Time-travelling bears have turned Earth into a dystopic zoo where the humans are the animals and the furries rule the world. Are you a man enough lumberjack to save the world from enslavement? I have to be honest, the game at its core is really simple. There are probably only a few enemy variants with significant differences only to HP length and your moveset never expands, but because of the sheer hilarity of this concept you find yourself just addicted to beating the shit out of bears across time. It plays more like an 80s Double Dragon affair and requires some imagination to get through. Very enjoyable; did not put it down.
Rymndkapsel - www.rymdkapsel.com/
Abstract space sim where you have to manage randomly generated blocks in order to provide power, feed the popularce, build weapons, and defend your colony. Oh and did I mention all the abstract blocks are also tetris blocks. It's got almost a zen feel to it so its not as hectic as some tower defense sims even if you're being attacked from all directions.
Dropchord - www.dropchord.com/
This is more of Exilement's thing. It's a rhythm game that requires just two fingers that circle around a magic music making machine. Watch the vids for a more exciting description.
Indiana Stone - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TwinSkyGames.IStone
Reverse Temple Runner where you play as the stone that chases after Indiana Jones. Chase him in 4 different countries. Unlock over 8 characters including a lemon, a barrel, a wheel, and a bowling ball. Comes with alot of challenge and difficulty modes. Also a hilarious game over screen where the idol Indiana is carrying is sent to a museum and its crying because you didn't save it.
The Firm - www.sunnysidegames.ch/portfolio/thefirm/
A simpler Papers Please on the mobile. You play as a stock trader who must either buy or sell stock to move up in the company. The game has a "story" of sorts where you try and get promoted until you've become a soulless corporate slob but as you do you unlock new abilities to help you in your indecision. The number of things you have to decide upon is less than Papers Please, but in turn the game is more fast paced and hectic. It's also got one of the best chiptunes and bit graphics I've seen, and has the BEST most beautiful game over screen I've seen in a long time. I won't spoil it but the pixel work and the message is just so impactful.
That's not true. Now I'm just showing off.
Kidding aside, I am not exaggerating at all, Jeff. I have all of these games on my iphone and android (which I had before). That's how I am able to talk extensively about these games.

Not right after lol. It was right after he beat the Dark-lord. (At least i think it was after)
Also here's a list without any explanation of games i used to play on my phone before it got thrown into the shadow realm.
Cytus, Deemo, Temple run, Subway-surfers, Jet-pack Joyride, Vector, Chess, checkers, connect 4 and Zennoia 5.

My comments on some of the games mentioned:
When this was being hyped I was so excited for it, but despite it being a recommended pick up, I'm rather disappointed by it only having 10 levels including the easy tutorial stuff. It's beautiful though if it were the only thing of its kind, but I was already familiar with Echochome which is out on the PS3 and PSP I believe. If you can't get those, then MV is nice as well.
That was my first impression though so I don't know if it ever got anymore levels than that.
Is that the one where you play as a 3D wrestler and it plays like a simulation where you can do anything? The guy I think made a few Sim games prior to that that were text only which I appreciated better because it wasn't as random and mindless. But to each his own.
like another attempt to loosen your purse strings and snag all your money. It gets really grindy as you go deeper and scavenging just reveals the same old crap. It also doesn't feel like you're making progress and just expanding your colony all for some weird desire to. It's a no-brainer casual game that puts the franchise to shame.
10000000 was a great concept and I feel like its sequel tried to make it better but ultimately just reused the same formula and made it worse. Both games are marginally better than most match3 games, but the original I feel really captures that Dungeoneering aspect where as the sequel attempted to make it into something more. Theyre both hilarious too.
To expound, this game has over 10 levels for 4 zones in a single day and there are 2 days. So 10 x 4 x 2 = 60 Levels. The same 60 can be played with more than 1 person on the same phone (60x2 = 120) for co-op. And there are also a bunch of VS levels (120 + 10ish). All in all, totally worth the purchase for such a simple imaginative mechanic. No level is boring here and not marginally as hard.
It gets really trial and errorish by the end and can be illogical at times. It hasn't aged well to be honest and is more of a novelty these days. But if youve never played Doodle God, then this game will be tops.

Quote from Exilement10000000 and its sequel You Have To Build A Boat are very fun, especially the latter, it has too many gameplay elements to fit into a short synopsis so just check them out.

If anyone here is into wrestling, Wrestling Revolution is a great game, along with Booking Revolution (where you get to be the owner of a Federation). The same guy also made a game called Hard Times which is a sims-type game except you're a convict in prison with wrestling moves lol Also, he made School Days, which is the same thing except you're in school.
Holy shit I play that game too. And It's epic af I actually have downloaded It on my pc lol and It's alot easier than the mobile. May I ask what's your favourite submission maneuver and finisher In that game?
Mine are :Camel clutch and burning hammer (spinebuster Is pretty nice too)
Edit:rofl just installed the new 3d version of It now on my pc :3

You can only get super uber rare cats with a golden cat ticket though. And Golden cat tickets cost 150 cat food per ticket. And it's by chance too. So either he's a lucky dude or he cheated. Which, I really don't mind. Majority of my friends cheat in this game anyway.
Cytus
Ah, good ol' Cytus. Although, sometimes the sync of the music and the tapping would go off after a while. While it is a great game, that file size is just too much for me. I'm tempted to go DL it again but alas, my phone has no memory card. I can't be bothered to get a new one just for this game.
Deemo
I never got around with Deemo as my phone lacked memory space and I got discouraged to reinstall it again because it was around 95% when it notified me I had "Low memory" and cancelled the whole thing.

I think you're referring to Wrestling Revolution 3D. His name is MDickie. I don't know if its random, because you do get to move from Federation to Federation, move up the pay-scale. You can accidentally kill/injure someone and be blacklisted, or move to Hollywood and make movies for big bucks. It also includes getting to be a popular enough wrestler to bargain for Creative control, guaranteed contracts, health insurance etc.
What are some of the other games that you liked? I like text based games a lot too.

Crucifix powerbomb is the shit, I love it. I also like the running spear, because it just looks so cool. Submission moves, I love the rear-end choke hold and chickenwing crossface. My favourite part of the game is to just fucking injure the bots by Piledriving them into a burning table or suplexing them onto broken glass.
You guys should also check out the "Kaththi" game if you can, its based on the film I worked in. Its rather generic with a limited move-set and no story, but it was cobbled together in a few weeks, and it lists me as Producer so its pretty cool :D

Nice.I prefer to grab every chair, table and ladder I can and grab them to the ring...then BAM! I shrekt the bots, rofl but that moment where your opponent somehow counters your move and throws you through the table and sadly you get Injured lol

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extreme_Warfare
His very first game, Extreme Warfare Revenge is one of the classic indie games (predating the genre's existence) and is about managing a wrestling promotion down to every single detail. It is the only true simulation of Wrestling Entertainment and includes options such as who wrestles when? Who can interrupt a match? Who wins and through what method? There are options for hiring writers to do certain storylines. How the storylines are presented. Who gets to be a heel and face. How the rivalry culminates. You can even select what promotion you'd like to play as. Managing something as big as the WWE can be a nightmare but you get to play a show every day. Something smaller like the Ring Of Honor though won't have the luxury of daily shows but at least you only have a handful of wrestlers to contend with. There are even smaller indie promotions who subsist purely on PPVs.
Of course, like any game with this much freedom, the game takes awhile to learn. There also arent any pictures and its all text (originally coded in Visual Basic). So it's really oldschool 90s shit but it's an amazing game that hasn't been replicated in any other form with such complexity.

Daaaang, all of these look so cool. :O I'm certainly going to have to check some out. c:
One of my favorite apps has been Transformers Battle Tactics- each bot has different stats and abilities depending on whether they're in robot or vehicle mode, and you have to strategize the best ways to win based on team arrangement, abilities selected, etc. Aaaand, you can get bots waaaay above your current level just by working hard during the various events they put on. It was super fun, and I like to think that I was pretty good at it, but my phone's memory was abysmal, so I had to ditch it just to make it so I could even just send text messages again. DX

I'm Back:
Out There: Omega Edition - www.outtheregame.com/
Essentially FTL for the Mobile devices. Plays stylistically like FTL, except you manage different kinds of block resources for your ship and you don't get a choice of ships at the start. What you do get is the ability to hijack alien ships as your own---provided they suit your requirements or you think its a good idea. It's just as shit hard, and just as fun random so if you like FTL, give this a try.
Cosmonautica - www.cosmonautica.com
Another space crew management sim, but more humorous and quirky. It's a trading/ship simulator where you go around trading goods or fighting pirates and whatnot all the while balancing your resources. Alot of games do this but this one just stood out in particular.
Skyward - www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAiOL_0tQGU
I saw the screenshots and I thought it was a Monument Valley sequel/clone. It is vastly different but more fun. I dont know---I'm still miffed that Monument Valley was too short, so an endless puzzler like this was a refreshing sight. You play as 2 dots who can traverse the escher-like landscape in the exact same vein as Monument Valley. The difference is its faster pace, its replayability, and its fun factor.
Galactic Keep - www.galactickeep.com/
Essentially Dungeons and Dragons in Space. Literally. The game is played like a pen and paper game with actual pen and paper style maps and tokens. You pick a character class, roll your random stats, then just let loose and play a storyline. So far only 1 episode is out but its enough for a full on adventure.
Easy! - www.prmac.com/release-id-76306.htm
Short timewaster where you answer yes or no questions in the span of 3 seconds each. Trip your brain and achieve highscores for hilarity.
EvoCreo - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1727119297/evocreotm-a-monster-collection-rpg
Apparently Pokemon is not grounds for copyright infringement because this game is almost an exact clone down to its stylistic aesthetics. The plot and beginning and even the interface is dead on Pokemon in everything but the name. If you ever wanted to play Pokemon on your Mobile without having to deal with an emulator now's your chance.
Shelter - www.indiedb.com/games/shelter-scg
Card Game. With zombies. Really don't wanna get anymore into it. It's simple and easy to learn, and it's got that grindy nature where you repeatedly do the same quests to open booster packs with more guns/items in card form.
Crowntakers - https://steamcommunity.com/app/294370
Hex-Based tactical RPG with sim elements. Roam the land recruiting mercenaries each with unique abilities and try to overthrow the kingdom whatever excuse plot. The game is known for its random roguelike elements in that if you (unless in easy mode) die, you start all over at level 1.
Mechanika - www.mangoprotocol.com/
Pt-click adventure game about a little girl who wants to build a robot to destroy the world. I know the graphics look cutesy, but trust me this game has fangs and it bites. It has prostitutes, satanism, and zoophilia, but not in an explicit R18 kinda way. They are outfitted into the game as if they are a part of the plot and puzzles. The protagonist is also pretty witty and cute and fun, especially when you get stuck and can choose to drink 'cognac cocoa' to get a hint in the game. It's short and episodic (with hints of future eps around the corner) but the programming is good; there are things you can try that have no impact in the game and the game will react accordingly. Fun stuff.

I'm Back again:
I'm here to talk about a mobile game I think everyone should get: EvoCreo
Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ilmfinity.evocreo.main.android&hl=en
IOS https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/evocreo-a-monster-capture-rpg/id918997182?mt=8
Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1727119297/evocreotm-a-monster-collection-rpg-for-mobile-devi
EvoCreo is a Pokemon adaptation that was crowdsourced by a fan who wanted to change the gameplay to make things more competitive and fun. The changes are as follows:
Other than those awesome changes, everything else is the same-ish. Gym Battles are now 3-4 consecutive arena matches, the Elite 4 is now the Elite 6, there is a Team Rocket and Legendary Pokemon equivalent in this game (the bad guys are geneticists who modify Creo so theyre a bit stronger), the map looks the same, you still have a Rival and a professor, and the dungeons are standard fair (the first one is still a Bug Forest). But this being not a Nintendo game, it leaves the possibility of more mature themes to be explored. For example, there is lore that states that the EvoCreo system was devised because a long time ago, people would recklessly war using Creo and alot of people died. EvoCreo was a way to stave that bloodlust all the while allowing countries to unease the tensions between them. You even get to goto the cemetary where all the dead soldiers were buried.
