Doesn't matter, you should be able to handle a max level cpu in PM.

Quote from Person McPersonIs it just me, or are Project M CPUs more intelligent than regular CPUs?
It isn't just you. The fox and falco ones are very heavily optimized in particular.

Going to a local tourney this saturday for Melee. I've gotten to know everyone there and some of them are insanely good, hahah. Hopefully I'll be able to do well anyway. I'm really glad I was able to find people to play Melee with, I'm improving really quickly.
On that note, anyone going to Beast 6? It would be pretty cool to meet someone and play some friendlies there.

Wow I'm surprised WyzDM hasn't contaminated this thread yet.
I went to a smash tourney like a month ago, it was fun.

Oh man, I'm so jealous. Good luck Sharp!
I wish that there was a Smash scene here. Even small tourneys, making friends and improving together would be a dream come true.

Are their any requirements to be or spectate in a tourney?
Also Pitch, do you prefer heavyweights over lightweights or something in SSB4?

Heavyweights are actually starting to become threats. Ever since the cargo throw kill combo and Bowser's kill confirm from uthrow, Along with their survivability, they are pretty big threats.
I'm more of a lightweight guy, since I main Fox, but I don't need to worry because I can reset neutral as many times as I want lol. We should play sometime Pitch :o

Yeah man I was just really lucky for finding a scene here with really nice people. Are you completely sure that there isn't any scene where you live? Do some searching online, I found this huge list before with different scenes but I can't find it right now.

Not at all. You can go there just to hang out with people, watch matches or play friendlies at most tournaments, competing usually cost extra but it is in no means required. (Talking from my own experience, it might differ between tournies.) You can go there with no experience and have a great time, I assure you. I would recommend bringing friends though, but it's obviously not required since you can always make friends at the tourney.
