They split up even after all the time they went through, and there's all this happy shit and stuff, even though they won't survive with the turn of how fighting is, since samurais were dying out in favour for guns. It's one of those bittersweet endings that make you want to kill people.

Or worse is extremely depressing endings, like Elfen Lied.

Oh and you guys should check out Afro Samurai, it's a nice change from usual Anime (If it can be considered one..). Stars a black man with a huge afro voiced by mister L Jackson himself, and he does some crazy violent killing. He splits a bullet in mid air, which explodes into like 50 shards and kills everyone behind him, it's epic.
