mine is the University of Washington
coolest one i got accepted to was NYU, too expensive however
also: i'm not trying to be rude, but is English your first language? it seems like you're struggling, which is surprising considering the fact that you were accepted to a selective university.

His English seems perfectly sufficient for college. I've seen far far worse from the international students at mine.

i feel like i need to say again that i'm not trying to be an "arrogant ass," but i saw this, and it's borderline unreadable:
Quote from stickdude74Well If you put this in to perspective of maybe an averege person a kid for example showing responsibility you can earn freedoms like privledges that you would not have otherwise earned
his college has a 32% acceptance rate, and he probably had to write multiple application essays. AGAIN: NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN
he must really, really excel in other areas

Yeah I know, I'm just saying universities usually have an international student quota. In Australia they get charged double what the domestic students are charged. So long as you can at least understand and communicate, it's alright. And there's no better way to get better at a language than becoming an international student in that country.
If English is his first language... Well..

yeah, i was just curious about the whole thing.
imagine reading a full-length essay with almost zero punctuation. i dunno man, if it was me, i'd have a hard time accepting that student regardless of everything else.

I'm pretty forgiving because I know how often people are accepted into universities in Asia with practically no language skills, and English speaking students are far better accommodated for. It would be annoying reading the essays, but it seems like lecturers only care about the subject matter.

> implying he's going to college
nowhere in his post did OP state he was going to school
On topic:
Eh, I'd have to say MIT or something. They do really cool tech shit, and I'd feel like I'm advancing science in general just by attending.

huh. i guess i just assumed when he said "mine is..." he meant *mine* in the sense that he goes there. that's what i meant when i said "mine"
now it seems obvious that he just meant his favorite is...
i can't into sports so i don't know how it feels to be a big fan of a college without going there

there are like sports team rivalries between different colleges in my area that everyone in high school seemed to care about
idk, i feel like it only makes sense to participate if you attend(ed) one of them or you have family there. otherwise, there's probably a team that objectively has a better win ratio.
and if you're gonna talk about what college has the best academics, it's obviously Ivy League colleges. not much of a contest. well, i guess England probably has some good ones, i dunno
