What I thought:
Xand's animation felt smoother, although it was too short in my opinion. Revenant's was also short, but it was a little choppy in some areas, and I felt like the intro was too long. My vote goes to Xand.
Edited:
I didn't watch till the very end of Xand's animation, so his animation is longer than I originally thought, but still short. Also, your lip syncing was a little off, but that doesnt really matter.

Okay you both need to work on your movements,
Xand: At 1:18 I noticed that your foot placement and the head were a bit sturdy, and somehow your sticks are shrinking.
Revenant: You need to learn easing bro, you need it in the part when xand steps his feet and your RHG performing a blast. You also need to work on your effects ...
BUT!!! You both did a good work, and hope you both improve more and keep practicing!!! :D

12 FPS!!!! you should practice 18, 20 or 24 fps >.< or if you keep using 12 fps ( its like double-framing in 24 fps) make sure movements are far each frame. (hope you understand that lol)

Great battle guys, voted for Xand because his was smoother and had better effects.
Tho both of your animations could've been longer if the draw time was approximately 2 weeks

Xand... you are improving quickly because of the tablets power, well fix the resizing
Revenant... work on your easing you will improve if you focus on the distances of your sticks

Both of them are good
so heres my review:
Xand : Really Improving, nice lip sync,Hidden fight scene(you should make them not hidden),great story so i rate you 7/10
Revenant104 : Very few fight scene, nice effects though, the angles are good so i rate you 6.2/10
so looks like xand have taken my vote, but dont worry revenant you did great too.THIS IS JUST MY REVIEW

P.S.: I'm here to help, not to degrade nor tease someone..
To Revenant104:
still, choppy...
Here are the things I Observed..
- Its a bit short tho.. It is kinda nice.. maybe practice more and then try a little longer
- Choppy, I have seen you are probably using 12 fps or something lower than 24.. You should practice 24 fps
- The effects.. maybe in lightning set a glow.. like Blue:5..
For Xand
You are far better and here are some of my advises
- Short... Maybe a bit more longer like 30 seconds that are full of damn combos..
- Face expression, Lips.. Some frames are likely to be unnecessary you might wanna check them "thrice" ..
My vote goes to Xand..
