Yeah, I think the game would have started off a lot better if I was a more respected member (and if my post count wasn't so low). Maybe in a month or two, though!

Mainly because other people can see if you're using the Private Message function on this forum, so it would be quite easy to figure out whos a mafia just by looking at who's sending PM's.

If you wanna run a requisite basic mafia game, you don't even need the ridiculous amount you're requesting.

2 Vanilla
1 Doctor
1 Cop
1 Mafia

is the most basic 5 player game. Add a Watcher and another Mafia and you've got a 7-player game. Perhaps you can fix the format to suit that instead.

Also, being more "famous" does have something to do with it, but you clearly have interested participants and they're no noobs either so if I were you, I'd suck it up and work with what you have. Your credibility will go a long way.

Viola. You can now host threads only you and the Mafia can see. Not that it's necessary, I've hosted games for ages and based this rule on an Honesty System. No one in their right mind will stoop to watching the Who's Online tab like a hawk just to win a game for no prize.

This is a better format for a shorter game/less people. If it grows in interest, you could expand it.

Nice find, and yeah, I don't think people would do that. If you're really concerned about it though, just use that thing up there or a similar chat room.

I never planned to use quicktopics in the past, but will do so in the future probably. Not for the Mafia, but for a specific Role that requires their own factional conversation.

I don't think its ridiculous at all, usually whenever I play Mafia Wars there is usually 14+ people so I guess that's what I'm used to.

I'll PM everyone their role later tomorrow. Are you interested in playing?

Yeah, if people show interest I'll definitely add more people to the mix, might even add some special roles if we get enough.
