I created a thread in the Easytoon section but it has not shown up. I suspect it might be because at the time I posted it I did not have over 20 posts, but I just wanted to make sure. I used the the post, so I don't know if I'm not allowed to do that yet or not.

You're right.

You have to exceed a number of posts before you can create your own threads. This is to minimize the bots from spamming.

Yeah, agreed, I don't like either of them. Why don't we just put one as president and one as vice president and get the whole thing over with already. It's like deciding between voting for a hurricane or voting for a tornado...still in a bad mess either way.
