WITH spending money? Try ad click sites, PM me if you need examples.
There people get paid to click on ad links, you need to view a site for 30 seconds then u get paid 1 or 2 cent.

WITHOUT spending money I'd suggest, get really good at animating and make a nice project, with some ads for your site

or just go round asking people if you can put an ad in on their site. what site is it by the way?

A great site, it's free, it's reliable. You register, post your site. You then visit other peoples sites and get from 1 credit to 3 credits. The more credits, the higher your site rank is, the more people will visit your site. Simple as that. I don't know the system fully because I myself just started tow days ago. Got 18 credits so far.

This is a great site which I myself use it the most. It's free and it's simple. You register and then put up your site on your account too. Then you view at least 30 sites, then write 10 reviews. Post one message on the forum. If you will do that every day, you will get high in the rankings FAST. I did and about 135 people visited my site in a week. Sure it's not much but it's a START! It's easy as cake. If you post informative site reviews you will get an A rating as I did and will get even higher in the rankings. That's how the system works. This is a recommended site from me.
