he could have just used a png, gif, or just used the same color as the background on his avatar.

Huh, when I try to save it as a .png it gives it a grey background. Maybe I did something wrong. Oh well.

I need to check out .apng.

Animated PNG, only way to get an animated avatar on facepunch without being a gold member.

Yeah, it did that to me at first, but that's because it was bigger than the specified dimensions. When FP resizes it avatars, it gives it makes it jpeg quality and takes out the transparency. So I just cropped it and resized it.

Oh, and blond chick's name is Dee, boy.
