I was looking through some of my old threads and thought this was a pretty interesting topic. I wondered what today's userbase would think about this question.

If you were truly immortal(against your will. Everyone knows being immortal would suck), what would you spend the next billion (billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion etc.) years doing?
This version of immortality means:
-You will have perfect memory, and remember anything you want to think back on at will
-It is impossible for you to die. Your body regrows lost limbs, your organs never fail. But you can still feel pain.
-You have eternal youth.
-Your brain is invulnerable to things like mental diseases and going crazy. You'll always be sane.

I'd suddenly find myself very interested in the Earth's survival. I'd become a world-famous public speaker and astrophysicist and try and guide the world into interplanetary living as the years went on. Eventually that would transition to intergalactic living.

Then when the heat death of the universe inevitably came, I would be a very sad man :(

I'd read. I'd study. But be hidden.

Thing with immortality is that people WILL want the same thing. They will hunt you. The kind ones will ask first; the others will destroy things to get to you, study you forcefully and try to take the secret [if there is or not].

I'd change identities every five or so generations. Keep few friends and confidants and generally recluse myself from the world. If I ever decide to help, I'd disappear quickly afterwards. I'd watch the world grow and die. Join wars if I need to; join scientific exploration but when it all ends I need to disappear from sight.

I'll sit in the computer for a very, very, VERY long time. When I'm truly fed up I'll try to achieve every life goal of mine. Though I don't know if an immortal has a great will. Sometimes people do stuff so that they have achieved something before they die. If they know that they always have time, won't they put off their plans for later? thus being more slothy? Oh well...
By the way can you get fat as an immortal?

You guys are thinking too big.

For me, I am no longer hindered when animating RHG battles, writing stories and browsing the internet. I don't have to bother about food anymore and I don't even have to sleep as well (assuming I can just slog through it). If I get bored, I can just step outside to the nearby airfield and volunteer with the air force guys to do anything life-threateningly stupid. Maybe I can showcase my immortal immorals on Youtube with my new series "GuardianTempest survives..." with the first video being "a fistfight against Cpt. Cook and Nish." Not only that, since I never grow old, I can finally take my time doing whatever I want and perhaps I can FINALLY read the entirety of TvTropes.

How many punches does it take to kill a bear? I will find the answer to this question myself.

To find the treasure beneath that deary area? Awesome.

I'd do ALL the daredevils in the world do. Climbing mountains, parachuting, forest exploring without any fear in starve, and go around the world to collect photographs, try all cuisines, and visit their attractions. I'd probably even do that by just simply walking (and maybe several boat travelling due to the ocean and such. Man, would that be awesome.
Though yeah, gotta probably question how I'd be doing when the doomsday came later on...

I'll make my own country. With blackjacks and hoo- a proper country. Probably seeking world domination too, in the past it failed because the high caliber leaders die, well not this time.
